OP terenowiec 1 | 29 11 Sep 2007 / #3terenowanie is offroading!Anyways it will be Oct 13th 14th, in Pacific Beach, CAI work for the festival and i'm pretty sure i'm allowed to copy the text off our website... THANKS ANYWAYS admin....Anyways, there is always a BEER GARDEN with fresh IMPORTED Okocim!!! Tons of cold beer!!The food there is delicious, and there will be tons of polish dancing / comedy. This is not your typical Polish Festival... more like a POLISH PARTY!!!For location, please google "Polish mission 92109"
beckski 12 | 1,612 11 Sep 2007 / #4Anyways it will be Oct 13th 14th, in Pacific Beach, CAOoooh, I want to go!
Lightbulb 1 | 39 11 Sep 2007 / #5Anyways it will be Oct 13th 14th, in Pacific Beach, CANice, something in California! I'll be there if I can get time off work. Sounds fun. :)
OP terenowiec 1 | 29 11 Sep 2007 / #6It's the best festival ever.... i've been to festivals in Poland, Toronto, Los Angeles.... none of them even come close. The Los Angeles "Bazar" was the most utterly boring event i've ever attended....I'm telling you guys, if you like to party and have fun, come to the San Diego Festival! Especially Saturday - as there will be after-parties galore.I'll try to get some pictures from past events to give you an idea....I hope to see all you!!!
shewolf 5 | 1,077 11 Sep 2007 / #7This is not your typical Polish Festival... more like a POLISH PARTY!!!It sounds like alot of younger people go there. Maybe that's why it's more fun?
OP terenowiec 1 | 29 12 Sep 2007 / #8Yes. It is located in a neighborhood known for young party goers. People usually stumble upon the festival and join in the beer drinking fun, it gets pretty wild near the beer garden and behind the church, but all ages are there.... you can bring your kids to play games or you can bring your elderly parents to sit and eat polish food while they watch the stageits free to get in
JohnP - | 210 12 Sep 2007 / #9Arrgghhh...I just moved across the country from there 2 months ago!Never saw any international type stuff while I was there unless it was for Mexico. That'd been nice. Looks like fun.
shewolf 5 | 1,077 13 Sep 2007 / #10I just moved across the country from there 2 months ago!Never saw any international type stuff while I was there unless it was for Mexico.I was at Pacific Beach a couple of months ago. It's definitely a lively town. The beach is great. I didn't realize there were Polish events going on there, either.
OP terenowiec 1 | 29 14 Sep 2007 / #11Just so everybody knows,This is at Saint Maksymilian Kolbe polish mission on 1735 Grand Ave, 92109not far from the 5 freeway, grand/garnet exit
beckski 12 | 1,612 30 Sep 2007 / #13The Los Angeles "Bazar"I went there today. It was fun, minus the exception of running into the Polish ex-boyfriend there.
sledz 23 | 2,248 30 Sep 2007 / #14Hmmmm. InterestingIs it as big as Taste of Polonia in Chicago??Let see some pics!
beckski 12 | 1,612 30 Sep 2007 / #15It's rather small. It's held at a Polish church called, Our Lady of The Bright Mount. The only pic I have from there today, is a postcard of Our Lady Of Czestochowa.I didn't stay long. I felt uncomfortable seeing the ex-boyfriend and his UCLA colleagues there.
sledz 23 | 2,248 30 Sep 2007 / #16Its cool Becks, Polish fests are fun no matter the sizeDid they have an Okocim tent:)I just wonder what it was like?I`m sure you had some pierogis..tak

OP terenowiec 1 | 29 2 Oct 2007 / #22LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY!polishgirltx, you got plenty of time! Hit the road on Thursday the 11th! :)
beckski 12 | 1,612 2 Oct 2007 / #23LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY!Hopefully my damn leg heals before then. I've got a terrible knee sprain.
beckski 12 | 1,612 12 Oct 2007 / #25Please take some pics of the festival. Doesn't look like I'll make it this year. My leg is finally healing. I don't want to mess it up again.
Lightbulb 1 | 39 12 Oct 2007 / #26If anyone is going, I'd also really like to see how it went, if there are pictures. I can't afford the trip down from L.A. right now, and I get paid on the 15th of every month, so I'm screwed. :( I was looking forward to going, but I'll definitely make it next time. :)
beckski 12 | 1,612 12 Oct 2007 / #27I was looking forward to going, but I'll definitely make it next time. :)I'm in the same boat.
