Life / First Racial Attack for me in Poland [158]

I've had a similar thing on a few occassions, I wouldn't worry about it too much, The same thing would happen in the UK for no reason whatsoever, Next time kick 10 bales of **** out of him and i'm sure he won't do it again. At least if poles have a problem they seem to fight 1 0n 1 on not like the chavs in the uk that start fights only when there are 20 of them tooled up.

Love / i will visit poland to see my love [77]

I have never and have no desire to fall into cyber love, I understand if perhaps you meet a girl online and then start dating ie; face to face but it seems a bit strange that someone can fall in love with only pictures and words on a screen.

Life / Driving in Poland, Zebra crossings in stupid places? [26]

Poland seems to have loads of road junctions with traffic lights and a new type of road covering which stops any car getting traction to pull away or stop, Its an ingenious invention by the tyre producers I reckon. Roundabouts are great, even more fun in the wet.

Life / Driving in Poland, Zebra crossings in stupid places? [26]

What is the idea of putting zebra crossings on road junctions? I find this truly idiotic as when trying to pull out of a junction into a gap in the traffic you have to negotiate your way past pedestrians who have all the time in the world. Also when turning into junctions which are blind most of the time there is the risk someone will be crossing the road and cause some idiot in a skoda with no brakes and bald tyres to drive into the back of you as you have to stop whilst they cross. Seems a stupid idea IMHO and really annoys me.

*rant over*

Food / What is this Polish Meal? [7]

Kapusta, with lashings more of kapusta, lots of mayonaise and some of those disgusting pickled ghurkin things.

Or pierogi which is like big ravioli that doesn't come in a tin.

Why can't you get indian food in Poland, I miss it!

Love / What's God's answer TO my gf, after cheating on me after 4 years? [65]

I don't know how god comes into this as there is no proof he exists, To me it just sounds like the relationship has run its course and its time for you to move on to bigger and better things. Chill out there is no point in getting stressed out over things if somethings over then move on!

Life / Can you keep a right hand drive car in Poland? [57]

I guess its less than 10 years old so an SVA should be no more than £300, registration £25, MOT £45 and it will need taxing which i'm not sure about as it goes on emissions. I insured my car through a company called stuart collins who can provide comprehensive insurance with 12 months cover outside the UK, the cost is dependent on age but Insurance isn't too bad,

On the plus side if you wanted to sell the car in the UK if you get bored of it there are some tidy profits to be made.

Life / Can you keep a right hand drive car in Poland? [57]

No not at all, If the car is less than 10 years old it must have an SVA test. svauk for more info. The car then needs an MOT (safety check) and it need to be insured. You will have to insure it for the time being on its Chassis number until you have a reg. Once you have the MOT, SVA (if required) and an insurance covernote you need to send the new registration forms to the DVLA office and after 3-4 days youre car is issued with a UK registration number and all done!,

I used to import vehicles from Japan to the UK for a living so if you need any help please feel free to ask.

most of the info is on dvla.

What vehicle is it by the way?

Love / My Polish boyfriend fancies are Pakistani neighbor. What do I do ? [291]

In general I have a very high opinion of Polish people as a whole and find them very friendly and welcoming. Some of the posts on this forum over the last couple of days spewing racial hatred about anyone with a darker skin colour has somewhat altered my views,

Love / What is an acceptable dating age range in Poland? [51]

I would much rather date a girl who's up to 5 years older, Most younger girls I have met just seem to unable to hold a decent conversation.

20 is the minimum age I think is acceptable and 28 the maximum, I'm 23 so right in the middle.

There is a 13 year age gap between my mother and stepfather and they have been married for 20 years happily and never seem to argue. Age difference matters when you are my age but not as you get older imo

Love / BLACK GUYS POLISH WOMEN [809]

This is utterly ridiculous slating people from anywhere outside europe for no apparent reason. Marrying for citizenship is wrong and I don't agree with that but if 2 people really want to be together what does it matter where they come from or what colour their skin is.

If people are desperately wanting to leave their country then instead of just denying them access to europe and writing racist remarks on forums surely it would be more constructive to try to make their native countries better. As civilised and developed nations it would be the right thing to do.

Love / BLACK GUYS POLISH WOMEN [809]

Not everyone is that educated and able to think for themselves. Shame really that in this day and age this is still the case.

I would love to see these keyboard warriors go to some ghetto in the states and say that it would be good to watch but instead they sit at home googling pictures of naked ladies on teh internets all day.

Try going out and meeting some Black/asian people for real you might be pleasantly surpised or beaten sh*tless. (you people deserve the latter)

Love / i will visit poland to see my love [77]

When you fly all the way out to meet a non existant person, Please tell me this thread was started as a wind up to prevoke a response,

IF SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND SHE OBVIOUSLY ISN'T INTERESTED. FACT.

SHE IS PROBABLY DOING THIS TO WIND YOU UP AND SEE HOW FAR YOU WILL TAKE IT. FACT.

YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY "LOVE"SOMEONE YOU HAVE MET OVER THE INTERNET HAVING NEVER MET THEM FACE TO FACE. FACT.

Chill out dude and take it easy. Don't go jetting off all round the world to meet people who may not even exist.

Love / i will visit poland to see my love [77]

Dude if she already has a B/F I wouldn't even bother visiting her. Polish girls will mess you around. Sorry to break this to you but love doesn't exist it is the simple fact that you "get used" to somebody as opposed to "love" somebody. Obviously this is different when talking about families ie mother to child or siblings but when it comes to relationships they are all a farce and to be avoided at all costs unless you want to end up skint and homeless.

Save your cash from flights, Invest it wisely and reap the rewards.

Law / Visitor In Love with a Polish girl, UK marriage/Polish residence question [17]

How can England being in the EU possibly cause a problem, The amount of English people in Poland (wanting to spend there hard earned cash in your economy) are minimal. I'm sure that we have the same rights when it come to buying property in Poland too. It seems that poles in the UK get much better treatment than anyone else from abroad living in Poland. You still expect foreign investment which quite frankly without, Polands economy clearly wouldn't be growing at the rate it is today but yet you still have the communist attitude towards people coming an living here.

Utter nonsense.

Life / The trials and tribulations of trying to obtain a Polish driving license [26]

They sound more incompentent than the DVLA and that really is saying something!, I would just reapply for you UK one as the police leave you well alone when you use the words "Anglik tourista i am very sorry, now what was that you said again" and offer them a cigarette.

Also a UK driving license means you passed a test and simply didn't collect tokens from cereal packets and send them off with a stamped adressed envelope in order to recieve a laminated piece of card which apparently allows you to drive like a d***head.,

just a thought
