News / Walesa excluded from Polish national gala [38]

became corrupted like all Politicians

Yeah, or maybe even before...
I believe the story is that Walesa was an informant during Solidarnosc. A book has been published about this, just recently...
Some men have testified in court that the communists were given information that only Walesa himself could have known. He denies all this today.
But strangely enough, when he did indeed become president, the main group of his bodyguards was made up of former 'SB' and ubeki. telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/poland/2126507/Lech-Walesa-was-Communist-spy,-claims-book.html

It [the book] claims that new evidence from secret police files confirms rumours that Mr Walesa collaborated with Poland's "SB" Security Service in the 1970s, and was given the codename "Bolek".

Mr Walesa, who in 1990 went on to become Poland's president after the fall of the regime, fiercely denies the allegation. He claims he knows who Bolek is, but will reveal his name only if the book is published as planned.

History / Władysław Sikorski remains to be exhumed for cause of death [43]

What is Plish expiriance with Russians throughout history? Were Russians loyal allay partners to Poles?

The Russians were never loyal allies to Poles. The only time I can think of Russians actually helping Poland with no strings attached, was at the Battle of Grunwald, where a few Muscovite knights volounteered to help Poland-Lithuanian commonwealth to fight off Teutonic Knights.

Otherwise, their history has been marked by mistrust and blood. Both Poles and Russians had expansionist policies in the centuries before Polands partitioning, and it was only normal for the two to clash. Even their slavic kinship has been thrown aside in favour of conquering territory.

The liberation of Poles by Russians in 1945 is not seen as a godsend, by any stretch of the imagination. Slavery in exchange for slavery.

History / Władysław Sikorski remains to be exhumed for cause of death [43]

We may finally know the truth about how our General died, and how he was probably betrayed by our British and American 'allies.'

Exhumation gene . Wladyslaw Sikorski will be November 25 - said the president of IPN Janusz Kurtyka after a meeting with Metropolitan of Krakow , Cardinal . Stanislaw Dziwisz .

Examination of the body of General Wladyslaw Sikorski make specialists from the Institute of Forensic Research in collaboration with the Department of Forensic Medicine and Department of Radiology, Medical College of Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

President Kurtyka hopes that these studies will no doubt explain the circumstances of the death of Chief of the Polish Armed Forces.

News / Walesa excluded from Polish national gala [38]

Walesa is no saint either but this is pathetic.

Look at my post explaning 'why' above....

It is said that Tadic going to visit Poland and Kaczynski. It is probably about that gala (i didn`t heard complete comment)

So President Tadic, is he directly responsible for Kosovo? Is he appealing for Serbia to join the EU? I am asking because I do not hear much news from this front. Is he Serbia's version of a 'Tusk' like puppet?

On the other side, Kaczynski isn`t clear to me. He is kurva, that for sure but possible is little bit less traitor then Tusk but, one simple can`t be sure. Kurva is kurva.

In some other situation, if Poland and Serbia could be independant today, Serbian president should be for sure most important guest on Polish independance gala party. But, as we know, nor Poland, nor Serbia aren`t independant states. Hostile strangers rule us.

He is indeed less of one than Tusk. You can never know, however, as Kaczynski was for Kosovo seperation while he was still in power, but now he is against recognizing it (once Tusk is prime minister) I think it is nothing more than trying to disrupt Tusk and garner some Pro-Slavic followers. Maybe he actually feels that way, I do not know. With politicians, you can never know.

about Christ, Mother of God and St. Arhangel Michail my family SLAVA patron/protector.

Please include Poland in your prayers, bracie.

News / Walesa excluded from Polish national gala [38]

Walesa wasn't invited to the Polish Presidential gala because of the vulgar and childish way he called out Kaczynski not too long ago, while Walesa was under the microscope for being an informer. I don't think Walesa has issued a formal apology as of yet. Didn't anyone hear about this?

As well, Tusk and most of his cabinet are not attending. Of his top cabinet members, only Radek Sikorski, the Foreign Affairs Minister will be in attendance.

Tell me, is there any other country in Europe where the President and Prime Minister behave so rudely? I mean, disagreeing is one thing, but this is just too far...

How is this possible? Is he just political kurva, or big moron?

Probably both....

History / German POWs after WW2 - did the allies commit mass murder? [228]

And that Franek got treated well as he became a POW??? Just a lone incident???

Franek was an American. Hitler had respect for the US because he considered it to be run by Germanics. The manner in which Germans treated Anglo-Saxon British and American soldiers is not at all an accurate portrayal of generally brutal and savage treatment of Slavic POW's.

These men were skilled aviators. But face the facts, most of their kills came against an inferior air force.
Frankly, the only German fighting force I had some degree of respect for served in the Luftwaffe. Although, strafing civilian populations in 39' is far from anything heroic...

History / German POWs after WW2 - did the allies commit mass murder? [228]

Oh I know it and you can read about it here

Like I said... if you go through the list, compare how many Eastern Front victories these aces of yours had, to victories against a better allied airforce like the RAF. Certainly not as great as you make them out to be...

Like this man for example: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Grislawski

Grislawski was officially credited with shooting down 132 enemy aircraft, including 18 USAAF four-engined bombers in more than 800 combat missions. The majority of his kills were claimed on the Eastern front.

History / German POWs after WW2 - did the allies commit mass murder? [228]

Bratwurst Boy, the more I read your posts, the more I am absoulately disgusted with how proud you are of Germany's WW2 war record. You are glorifying mass murder, even if you deny it. You use the Luftwaffe example as a distraction and cover up to venerate the Nazi's and how 'succesful' they were in the wars early years. You are one sick man, you know that? Most reasonable people already 'get it' that no one side was completely innocent and chivalric. The fact that you keep throwing it in peoples faces only seems to be a testament to your unwanning desire to go back and participate in your countries expansion.

You want to know why most of your beloved German aces were so succesful? As you mentioned, most of them never got a chance to fight in the Battle of Britain, and if they had, they would have gotten their asses handed to them by allies flying Spitfires and Hurricanes. Most of their kills were against obselete Polish, French and Russian aircraft. Most of which were probably still parked on the tarmac! How glorious! And the glorious Luftwaffe actually lost more planes in the Polish campaign than the Poles themselves! How pathetic! Bf-109's getting shot out of the sky by PZL-P.11's, a plane which was more suited for early 1930's combat... I believe the totals were something like 181 German planes lost to 120 Polish planes. Good thing Poland only had a few hundred planes, eh!

You have been on this thread for almost 3 straight days now, becoming more and more defensive and antagonistic. Get some help man... preferably as soon as you can.

News / Candidate of "Hope and Change," Breaks Promise, Leaves Poland Defenseless [47]

Very, very well said. I have only contempt for our govermnent's political stance at the moment. If Obama indeed does not want to go through with the missile shield, then Poland will lose that, AND potentially destroy any chance of a Polish-Russian alliance in the near future. Why does it seem that they always have to meddle and get their noses dirty in things that do not directly concern them? They are overstretching themselves on the Middle Eastern scene, and the troops need to be returned home. 17 billion dollars of trade with Russia this year... there is no reason why this can't be doubled in the next few years.

With Russia, Poland can improve its economy, and command a better position in Europe, and at the same time, the United States will not lose respect for a whorish Poland.

God knows who will shift Polands current state. Certainly not Tusk or any of his cabinet.

was thinking Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Vietnam is a different case, because many of these men were drafted. I don't think you can blame the soldiers doing the fighting in that situation, just because of their govermnents policies. Just a ****** spot to be in, being sent over there.

Thats not to say that I disagree with a lot of America's involvement on the international level. How about East Timor? But respect for the rank and file troops.

It's sad that war is glorified. I find it pathetic when America hails its war veterans

And if these same war veterans hadn't came and saved your behinds in WW2, the world would surely be a hell of a lot different than it is today.

History / Sarmatia Europe - Could it be political reality? [183]

Russia has managed to maintain a politically strong position, much of this militarily. Poland should be somehow bold, yet cautious.

The problem with this statement is that Poland has tended to either be very bold, or very cautious, to the point where they, as I said, found themselves shunned from both parties. This only brought them years of blood and misery.

Russia has maintained this position, thanks to their influence on international economy. A strong military has always of the utmost importance for Russia, especially 1918 onwards. Lenin, and later Stalin, were rather paranoid, and rightly so, of being crushed by those around them. Perhaps this mentality still survives?

History / Sarmatia Europe - Could it be political reality? [183]

: And most people would just disagree with you in seeing a future EU-Europe as "infinite misery", sorry!

Like I said, only when it happens will they at once feel horrible about their naiive and laissez-faire attitudes.
Life will go on. We all die eventually, even the optimists.
The blood will perhaps, never be shed on the field, but it is slowly sucked out of each individual soul, with each passing day.

and a stronger Poland is actually in the EU's interests

Yes, but HOW strong? Subjugation, unfortunately, has many forms my dear friend. A barrier would be set in place, eventually. What European power would like to see his position shifted or eclipsed by Poland?

Indeed, this is a mute point. As in coming decades, Poland will become less of a Poland we know today, and more of a EU clone. The last opposition will be crushed and a grotesque coordination of 1 mindset will occur. Yes, I can see it already...

It is my belief that co-operation with Russia would most likely lead once again to subjugation.

Russia, I feel, would benefit from an alliance with a strong European country. Polish fears of Russian overlordship and power should be enough to never lead into a similar situation.

I recently read an article about Russia, and their population decline. Surely, they are past their glory years. You would have to look long and hard to find a Russian who would be openly opposed to an alliance with another Slavic country, even Poland.

But a strong backbone remains, with a potential wildcard in oil. It would be very wise to align yourself right now, before EU ass-kissing begins. Poland would be left in the middle. On one side, EU is looking after its own interests, the well being of their nations population, on the other, Russia and ultimate goal of wealth. Anamosity between Poland and Russia in that situation would be have a very negative side effect.

History / Sarmatia Europe - Could it be political reality? [183]

maybe a handful

Perhaps.. perhaps not.

These are people who would actually be glad to see the EU destroyed, people becoming unhappy, unrest, war.

Look, get this straight Bratwurst. The EU's worth to Poland worth is really neglegable at the moment. It mostly includes bribery from the EU's head in exchange for Polish souls. Poland could break away at any time, and concentrate on their ties with Russia and other non-EU countries. 17 billion of our trade is with Russia, which is a rather small figure if you consider their general proximity and cultural similarities.

The destiny of Poland in the EU is very dark indeed. A 'cultural shower' is necessary before you are fully accepted into the EU's circle of trust. Where will this leave Poland? Another European country infested with immigrants, with its history in the back seat in the drive for wealth?

I think every country will eventually forget who they once were, and this world will indeed become an agragate of greed, wealth... no identity.
There is no way to stop this, either. Only when it is too late, will a certain few look back and say, "What have we done?" Others will simply be destroyed by money and the lust for it.

Bratwurst, now tell me this. Would a few years of blood and unrest, be worth going through to save future generations from infinite misery?

News / Will Democratic US abandon Poland to Russia and Germany? [23]

I don't agree with your vison of our foreign affairs.

Co mnie to obchodzi?

Anyways, you've been here 1 day.... You know **** all about my "vision."

No I am serious...go...go now even. I will help you pack.

Severing western ties would not include me leaving Poland, you idiot.
But it would indeed include sending YOU back home. Why don't I help you pack instead?
You really do have balls to be telling me to leave my own country.
