Will Democratic US abandon Poland to Russia and Germany?

Ok, other than Ohio (which has a lot of Poles) and Michigan (too) voted for Obama,
and he won, together with the Democratic Senate and House, it appears - as usual Democratic policy goes - they will go with Western European wishes and favour Putin's Russia. Poland will no doubt be abandoned again.

Some may say it was maybe stupid for the Poles to go to Afghanistan and Iraq,
although they got a lot of experience out of it, for their army that is. Otherwise,
the nuclear shield programme may be scrapped and the Democratic USA will
probably follow a policy of appeasement towards Putin. Should Poles in
Poland thank the US Polish community for their selfless support in this?

Maybe they should. Anyway, just my 2c. :)

Lets hope that enough Polish American's write to the new President and he understands our concerns. I did notice Obama (after seeing others reaction) did take a stronger stance on Putin and Russia's actions.

LOLOLOL

US is not really that bad, Poland needs to update and grow military strength, if US is willing to help then I say go for it.

Poland should themselves abondon all ties to the U.S, and begin a pro-Russian diplomatic stance. As soon as Katyn wounds will be healed, which they soon will be with a formal Russian admitance of genocide. Obama will be seeking to further U.S involvement in European politics, and it will only be a matter of time before Poland will be left to the wolves and abondoned. That is why she should go to Russia's side as soon as possible. Sever all ties with the west. Russians are ready to move on, Poles should move on as well, without ever forgetting their past. It is a very fair scenario.

Sever all ties with the west.

What do you mean with that exactly?

Continue to trade, but not within the European Union's framework. Stop sending its youth to work in the UK and elsewhere, and instead focus on Eastern European economy and strengthen it from the inside.

Russians are ready to move on,

Yeah right!

Stop sending its youth to work in the UK and elsewhere

They send themselves, and three of my Polish colleagues are over 60. Do you dancy yourself as a dictator who prohibits people from leaving the country to better their chances in life?

They send themselves

It wouldn't be so without the EU...

Do you dancy yourself as a dictator

Nope.

It really sounds like a dictatorship which tells their people where to go and what to do...no chance!

It wouldn't be so without the EU...

Poles emigrated for centuries...that has nothing to do with the EU.

Not exactly. What I propose is unlimited travelling in Eastern Europe, to boost their tourism industry, while also having some freedom.

In case you havn't noticed, I speak, read and write in Polish, fluently. There goes your argument...

good luck with that comrade

Thanks.

Co mnie to obchodzi?

Anyways, you've been here 1 day.... You know **** all about my "vision."

No I am serious...go...go now even. I will help you pack.

Severing western ties would not include me leaving Poland, you idiot.
But it would indeed include sending YOU back home. Why don't I help you pack instead?
You really do have balls to be telling me to leave my own country.

Yeah...that proved so successful during the Warsaw Pact that the people risked their lives to try the other direction (westwards).

God Filios, you can't really want that back ..you are pulling our chains, don't you?
:)

Nah I think it would involve you defecting to Russia as all the other Poles think you are insane and would sacrifice you to the bear.

You are not man enough to pack my toilet paper boy.

Warsaw Pact

These were different times, under a sick system, already in decline.
It's certainly not what I had in mind.

Polish girls look better but Israeli girls give better blowjobs

Please show some class. Some of us may not care to hear of your dreams.

From what I'm reading Russia could care less who won US election. USA will not abandon plans over threats.

U.S. Doesn’t Fear Russia’s Response to Missile Defense Deployment in Europe
The U.S. Department of State expressed Wednesday the general disappointment in the wake of RF President Dmitry Medvedev’s promise to relocate Russia’s missiles to Kaliningrad Region in response to the ABM location in Poland.
