Travel / Krakow going down the toilet! [184]

Maybe not to that extent but I witnessed similiar behaviour coming from some italian tourists. :/

Agree on this one as the 3 times I've seen bad behaviour in Krakow from foreign tourists once they were Brits the other two times they were Italian- touching up the female barstaff whilst p1ssed that sort of thing. The only fighting I've seen there was amongst Poles.

Travel / Krakow going down the toilet! [184]

I've been caught out once or twice by this in Poland. Getting somewhere, buying the first round for however many people and then half the fookers are out the door as soon as their glass is empty. Bad form old chap.

Travel / Krakow going down the toilet! [184]

I think the a reason is that British men go out they laugh in a very distinctive way that upsets foreigners, namely we laugh loudly and alot. I've seen Poles get a bit up set by this as they sit there huddled up together discussing something serious(it seems). British men like to sit/stand together drinking and taking the p1ss out of each other. This leads to much merriment from the Brits and much tut-tutting from others who arent having quite as good a time.

This however is no excuse for morons who puke in the street and abuse women.

History / Jewish love towards Poles [389]

I've found some more Jewish brothers who have been up to no good. One of them even pretended to be deaf. They are a very cunning people and cannot be trusted..

News / EU a beacon of light for the World to follow [85]

Why on earth a German should decide what to do in other countries and other way around if they have no idea about real problem in these places?? .

Because when you join the EU you agree to have a certain amount of standardisation across the member states. Its supposed to be a common market of goods and services after all.

Love / BLACK GUYS POLISH WOMEN [809]

Plus, Poles know as well as anyone that history weighs upon you every day no matter if you went through it or not.

Is'nt there a statute of limitations on blaming history for personal shortcomings?

Also, Poles may blame history for institutional failures in their country but I'm not aware of any of them blaming history for any individual disappointments they experience.

Love / BLACK GUYS POLISH WOMEN [809]

Get my facts straight? And what have I gotten wrong, here? If you were told of a people that invaded a country, took the people of that country to a foriegn land and made them slaves, hung thousands of them from trees, then put them in ghettos and prisons, wouldn't allow them to use the same bathrooms or go to good schools, gave them prison sentences 4 times longer, which people would you be frightened of?

Your argument would hold water if it wasnt for the fact that a lot of black people in Britain are second or 3rd generation Africans. Therefore they have never been slaves, or forceably moved from their country, or hung from trees, or put into ghettos, or limited to particular bathrooms or schools or given prison sentences 4x longer.

Portugal will be partially responsible for what is going on in Deutchland

No, they will have a say in what happens in the EU as a whole. This will include Germany, not Gemany specifically.
For me personally I dont see why I should agree to live by the laws and regulations created and agreed by the British population but say that those created by the EU are not relevant or legitimate to me. I think the various countries of the EU have the right idea on a number of issues and can teach us in the UK alot. Equally I think that many EU nations can learn much from the UK. Often I find myself agreeing more with the foreign or domestic policy objectives of France or Germany more than my own country and would rather be represented by them.

UK, Ireland / Do Polish immigrants wish to stay in UK - long term? [92]

Polophobia

I wish people would stop using this word as is it is a nonsense. No one in Britain ever considered it worthwhile to refer to prejudice against black people as Afrophobia or against Asian as Asiophobia.

in the UK seems to be spreading and those who were previously targets of racism are now some of the keenest to diss it out themselves

True. It is mildly comic to see 2nd generation immigrants justify their support forimmigration control though. They often dont include there own family and friends as those that should be restricted.

UK, Ireland / Severed Head in Bag is an Eastern European Females [46]

lets see how long before all the idiots come out and say it must be a jacub still conspiricy :(

According to these boards all attacks on East Europeans are by anti-Eastern European locals. Even when the perpertrator is found to be East European himself, he has been framed by anti-Eastern European locals. There must be a conspiracy somewhere. Maybe a Jewish one?

Travel / Krakow going down the toilet! [184]

Its easy to stop it though I dont think the bar owners will. The p1ssheads get what they want and the bar owners get their money. The losers are the rest of us.

UK, Ireland / Social control in Polish communities in Ireland, UK and elswhere [40]

It sometimes seems they want to keep the Polish world apart from their other world.

I know what you mean. Maybe they just relax better with people when speaking in their native tongue though. Sometimes foreigners can slow the conversation down.

Life / Those Stella Artois Ads (filmed in Poland) [28]

But Stella is very nice on a hot sunny day :)

True. I love Stella although people try to warn me away from it if its going to be a big day of drinking as the alcohol content gets me buzzing by the second pint. Those first two Stellas on a hot day put me in a great mood. Its the other 6 or 7 that get me hugging the table.

Life / I feel the gay rights movement is constrained Poland [90]

If your from the UK, first get your country in order before you jump on the high horse and point fingers....

This is because its more difficult to attack gay people in Poland as violence against the clergy is frowned upon.

Life / The strangest things in Poland [468]

Sometimes when I eat sandwiches for breakfast they have vegetables on them (ie tomato, cucumber, lettuce). How is that weird?

Its a cultural preference. To me sweetcorn and peas in mayonaise first thing in the morning is a stomach turner.

It's just usually the British who think we should all eat like they do, otherwise it has to be 'strange' if we don't !

Correct. This is how it is most places in te world I imagine.
If I went to Poland and had curry for breakfast people wouldnt think that somewhat unusual? Or is it that Poles are just so easygoing about individual choices compared to Brits that they wouldnt even notice?

Life / When to greet strangers in Poland or not.. [30]

Hmmm well first I went to a rugby bar got smashed and some hooligan tried to cut in line in front of me at lilywhites.

These people are called chavs in England and are everywhere. Its just a shame you didnt kill them.

In france I was told to go back to america because they don't like george bush there by a waiter at some crepe store!

This is fairly typical. The French can be w@nkers who think that only the French have the right to use force unilaterally and illegally in foreign affairs and et a bit sniffy when anyone else exercises the same rights.

News / March of Tolerance in Krakow [478]

That's what's unnatural in homosexuality. It is against the basic principle of life - perpetuation of the species.

So are blow jobs but I bet none of us dont turn them down.

Life / The strangest things in Poland [468]

Eating vegatables for breakfast.
Or when people eat that really soft cheese with jam on bread. Its even worse when they seem to get most of the creaminess around their mouth and leave it there whilst talking to you.
