If you are Italian citizen then you don't need a visa, but we're not in schengen, so you need a passport.

They're no different to the Polish Youth who attack gay people on the streets of Warsaw

Attacks on homos are not a good thing but on the other hand fags should keep that mess at home.

Life / Are Polish People Racist? [1037]

Poles are racist only in case of black people and even that is changing, there's no hostility (exept few real punks) against Hindu or Asians (there's many Vietnames in PL) and anti-Arabism or anti-pakism is not racism, that's rather a rational behavior.

Life / considering a move to poland :-) [19]

any recommedations as to looking for employment i am wanting to work within the administrative sector or travel sector?

Unless you are fluent in Polish, some world class expert or a cheap seasonal worker from Belarus It will be hard to find a job. Easy way is to teach English.

UK, Ireland / Poles in UK claiming state benefit have cost the taxpayer 45M pounds [55]

Not dreams.. soon you gonna see large numbers of british in the street protesting against Poles

Could be. Why don't you tell local Poles what you think about them ? I could pay to watch that.

Not dreams.. soon you gonna see large numbers of british in the street protesting against Poles

One more thing. I really don't want to hurt your feelings, but "sons of camels" are not really British and will never be.

UK, Ireland / Crime in london versus Crime in Poland. [24]

I've seen soooo many fights in London, knives being pulled, guns fired but as of yet no problems in Poland.

I wouldn't say that such things are unusual in Poland, but here in most cases these are punks fighting each other. Unless you walk alone at night in few really bad areas, show around a wallet full of cash, visit crappy night clubs etc. the risk of being attacked is indeed really small.

News / Mine disaster in Poland [23]

I do n't know him at all - wasn' t he a priminister at one point?

Yes he was. Nothing special but he is pretty much normal. On the other hand HGW seems to be mildly retarded.

Don't confuse Kazik with Kazik.

True.

I don't think so. For me Kazik seems to be a mega brainer compared to her.

News / BRAIN DRAIN ON POLAND [101]

it is annoying to find so many polish people abroad ( they are usually not "smart" no education some of them don't know the language of the country they're in, bad behaviour sometimes)and they are all after the money educated or not, doing the simplest jobs mainly

There are "lower class" people in every nation and It's better that they are there (and often send money to PL) than sit here on welfer.

As for the brain drain - I think it is a disaster. As a journalist, I speak to lots of Polish people and the ones that will not return are the youngest, best educated and enterpreneurial people.

I can't agree with that. First of all the best educated people can make really good money in Poland, so usually they don't leave and no matter what they say I think that most of those, who left would come back immidietly If they could make here similar money.

Grzegorz,

When in Poland they are potential high earners. Doctors, Dentists etc.

When in the UK they are low income workers. They take a change of direction workwise.

Is this what you mean ?

Well... I simply mean that most of them work for little money in comparision to average natives in these countries.

News / BRAIN DRAIN ON POLAND [101]

There are lots of people from Poland with degrees etc doing more manual work in Ireland/UK....so their specialsit skills/qualifications are being lost to Poland...

We are "producing" a few hundred thousand such people with degrees every year. Poles, especially young are simply overeducated for this level of economical developement. Generally people, who are leaving are those who aren't smart enough (and I'm not insluting anyone because in next year I am probably going to UK) to make a career in Poland and choose ****** job in UK or Irealand (for 1.500 EUR) over ****** job (below their qualifications) in Poland (for 300 EUR) or no job at all.

right-wing extremists

I voted for PiS If you mean that :).

News / BRAIN DRAIN ON POLAND [101]

Am sure there is a huge brain drain relative to the population

How is that ? Most of these people are factory workers, truck drivers, waitress etc.
