Study / Where to study Advertisement Management in Poland? [13]

So I want to ask you what universities are there in Poland

There are about 20 univerities and all togheter few hundred private and public "university level" schools. Some have studies in English, but not many.

maybe someone know about fees in universities and about joining them(is there any exames?)?

Public are for free, at least If you have a citizenship and since 2 or 3 years instead of exams they check results of the final exam in high school.

Life / Why do Poles drink so much? [161]

Is it fair to assume that Poles are therefore better drinkers than the English?

That's because we have longer experience with vodka. Seriously.

Life / Do Polish people respect other cultures? [96]

For example they called the Romanians "gipsy"

That's because in early 90's Poland was invaded by thousands of Gypsies from Romania, who were begging on the street, sending their kids to steal etc. Many Poles, especially these not very educated thought (and some still think) that all Romanians are like that.

Each one of them criticisez the country in which they travelled or lived.

And read what some Poles here write about Poland. Poles are simply the champions of cmplains and criticizm.

Travel / The Polish immigrants' vacations in Poland - it used to be different [20]

I can sense an irony here. It's not that I don't like Poland or don't identify with Poland anymore; it's just seems too small and everything is the same as I remember it. Being a teenager everything was different and bigger .

OK. Maybe then your Bush should help us to conqer Germany ?

some of the lakes are now so polluted that there not worth going to

I don't want to scream "Poland always the best", but pollution now is at worst half of that 15-20 years ago in next years we are getting billions from EU on enwironment protection, so whay are you spreading such ********* ?

News / Russian bear flexes his energy muscles - threat to Poland? [37]

Well...they aint been right about much in the last 200 odd years

True, but still doesn't mean that they are always wrong.

Its only their way of exercising political muscle....by economic means......showing whose boss to the small former satellite states...just a bully really......

Sometimes they do, like in Ukraine, but they simply have a right to demand equel prices from all buyers of their gas and oil... and Belarus is a stalinistic dictatorship...

News / Russian bear flexes his energy muscles - threat to Poland? [37]

Yes...but Belarus is quite poor....there half is very very expensive compared to the older EU states.

So ? Are Spanish going to sell us vacations in their country for 1/4 the price, because we are poorer ? Putin is definately not a "good guy", but it doesn't mean that Russia is always wrong.

News / Where in the US/UK live most Poles? [46]

There is not a place in the world we're are not at! From Alaska to Australia...

And that's bad. We should rather concentrate and take over some of these little countries, like Ireland for example.

UK, Ireland / Polish Migrants makes room for '20 to a house [59]

Yes the money is better than poland, but the uk is one of the most expensive places to live on the planet.

That's why hardly any Poles move to UK with kids and a chance that some with kids live near him is at best 0.1%, ~0% that they are doing what he (or rather "it") wrote.

History / Jews...and their Polish experience [520]

What about the other camps?

The number of all Jews killed in the camps is probably 3-3.5 million, the total number of Jews killed during WW2 is 5-5.5 million.
