Love / Techniques for meeting Polish girls [68]

Personally, though, I find it a bit offputting when they say that.

No doubt you still shag them though?

Alx, as an English woman, I can say hand on heart that most English woman would avoid you at all cost in a bar because you sound like a right cock.

Love / A Story of mine [47]

Maybe some British Girl like ShelleyS.

I prefer to be called English.

Maybe some British Girl who is trying to influence British Boy's behavior or who is jealous of Polish Girls made this story up.

British men have their own minds and the vast majority of us really couldnt care less who British men sh*g, its a free world and as long as it doesnt interfer with my life they can do what and who they please.

Still searching Europe for a woman? Woman are woman where ever you go JC, and a prick like you will be single no matter where you go because even the biggest sluts have some standards.

USA, Canada / America's Got Talents Judges kicked the Polish Triplet sisters.. [37]

You didn't hear them singing tho. lol In one of the previous shows they did both, played violins and sang and their singing was terrible indeed.

Oh my ******* god, they really should stick to violin..my ears hurt, I know how Piers felt! In the first vid they sounded okay with the violin, but the violin playing took over and did it for me.

Life / Polish health care system, my experience. [32]

Do you honestly think that is happening? Youve been out of the UK for a few years and you dont work in the NHS, my mums friend gets at least 3 africans ready to drop each week with no NI but they treat them and they get post natal and antinatal care.

It has changed with regards to hospital in the south where asians got off the plane and expected to walk in to a hospital for cancer treatment!

Life / Openly gay in Poland [245]

Always made me laugh did that. A clever bit of tip-ex on the road-sign turning the Canal Street in to anal treet. Especially given as it is the gay capital of Manchester. Quite a good night out if I recall.

Its not tip-ex they scratch it off, its a pain in the ar*e (pardon the pun) for M/c Council ;0)

Ive not been down there for a while..I love Velvet, the food is fab...

Back on topic:

I have no problem with gay people, as Ive said a couple of my good friends are lesbians, they're not particularly overly butch and dont get touchy feely in public, they are just normal people who prefer to keep their private life (read: sexual contact) private...I dont actually enjoy watching hetros pawing each other in the streets, its all about time and a place. I do however hate and I mean hate, screaming fagots as do other gay friends I have. they are not a true representation of gay people.

Love / Abuse in relationships (my first Polish girlfriend) [216]

I was sitting in an upscale restaurant/bar in Streatorville waiting for a friend of mine to show up.

Read: McDonalds.

I was sipping my Mer

Read: Cola light.

30-something woman sat next to me and began to flop her bosom in my direction.

Read: Totally ignored me whilst I was staring at her t*ts.

As she sat on her stool I noticed that she kept pivoting my way while her dress kept hiking up her thighs.

Read: Kept pulling her skirt over her knees because I was staring at her in an unhealthy lusty manner.

I pretended not to notice

Read: I was drooling at the mouth.

she started the conversation by asking me if the restaurant served good food.

Read: She was totally ignoring me, but I continued to pester her.

I told her that it was a very good restaurant

See above.

but looking at her attempt at provocative moves I was quickly losing my appetite.

Read: I wasnt getting anywhere so I left my half finished fries and burger and left.

She flipped, created a scene by shouting and walked out without paying for her half-finished drink.

Read: She called me a damn pervert and threatened to call the manager so I left in a hurry (leaving said burger and fries)

The female bartender (whom I knew as I'm a regular there) just raised her eyes, shook her head and said, "it takes all kinds"

Read: She thinks you're a bit of a letch.

She bought me the next drink, my buddy showed up and I had a terrific Porterhouse steak dinner.

Thought you'd lost your appitite?

Life / Openly gay in Poland [245]

Okay, I have a laugh with a Polish guy who is on secondment to my office and today he made a joke about extention (telephone) and seating plan (he made reference to the colour coding) so I changed it and sent him an 'amended' version with his block (imagine his name in a square with his extention number) in bright pink - I also amended the key on the plan too so it read "slightly gay" (next to the newly added bright pink) - he wasnt happy and admitted that he gets angry when he sees gay people...WTF, this is a 27 year old professional inteligent guy from Warsaw..I expect this attitude from some ignorant chav in the UK...

Thankfully I played the "you misunderstood me 'Gay' means happy" card ;0) I was actually quite shocked...Im almost sorry now I didnt put him the usual apartments we put secondees in, which is opposite Anal Treet (AKA Canal Street) which is the main strip for the gay village in Manchester..might have given him a bit of 'exposure'!

Life / Polish health care system, my experience. [32]

I mean, when I worked in A&E (judging if people were mentally right to accept treatment), we treated every bugger no matter what.

All Doctors here to rotations so they are able to treat all injuries. Thats the difference.

News / Shock therapy for Polish prisoners. [13]

So what kind of shock are they going to give them? Most criminals dont care, they're not going to give a toss about some film or lecturer.

Life / Polish health care system, my experience. [32]

We went to the second hospital, and had a lengthy conversation with the woman behind the reception, who was very pleasant, but informed us they had no doctor that could help unless I was either willing to pay a lot of money or willing to wait 4 hours and pay a lot of money.

Shame the UK doesnt do the same to those that land here and expect abortions on the NHS!

Most wonderful city on this planet, been going for a very long time, long before twts like the OP decided to move there and talk about it in such a way...It's got several aspects to it..but Im sure the OP has just concentrated on brothels and women...

Love / Abuse in relationships (my first Polish girlfriend) [216]

I just found it strange the comment she made and it made me wonder if this type of behavior is typical in Poland.

She tried to justify it, that's all. Evidently her ex Polish boyfriends didnt put up with it because the most probably dumped her!

I've never witnessed this type of behavior with English

Oh some of them have tempers, but for the most part, we'll just ignore you or find other forms of punishment ;0)

Anyway, Im glad you dumped her, plenty more fish in the sea sweety.

Maybe you are right.

Im a woman, Im always right.

UK, Ireland / Brits Are 'Dangerously Lazy And Idle' [53]

Lazy bastids. How did these swines ever run an empire?

Simple, we had slaves.....had we kept the empire, every home would have a standby slave so when the remote battery ran out, we just get them to turn the telly over ;0)

Damn the fall of the empire, I'll just have to ensure I have spare batteries in my kitchen draw so I dont have to get up and turn over the telly!

British people happen to be both dangerously lazy and dangerously lucky

Do you know how much a single person gets on the benefits? Its hardly enough to feed a mouse...It wouldnt even cover my untilites, let alone feeding and clothing a normal person.

These people are not lucky, these people know nothing different thanks to this country which has erroded away at the industry we once had.

Love / Abuse in relationships (my first Polish girlfriend) [216]

Lefty

Just a question, are you still with her? If so why?

Another question, if she was the same nationality as you would you go on a forum and ask people if they thought it was okay for girl kick seven bells out of them, because aparently they'd done with it with previous ex boyfriends?

I dont really think that this has anything to do with her nationality, she's just a phsyco biatch who needs to be left alone with her thoughts, permanently.

I didn't think it was that bad in Europe though.

In England most of the time the Police dont get involved because its classed as "domestic" there have been cases where the Police have been called and not bothered to turn up and then a woman has been found battered to death by her loving boyfriend. As for wesh's post regarding his brother, this does happen but there must have been other things going on, they simply wouldnt revoke his access on hearsay. Sorry Welsh, but it's along process and there must have been other contributing factors.

Life / Openly gay in Poland [245]

What is that, S?

The week that I try and avoid any bars in Manchester, first year uni students...they've got freedom (first time living away from home for most) and cash (they've just got their student loans) and most of them need shooting! My city is a large university city...so we have more than our fair share of them!

Life / Openly gay in Poland [245]

Props for the post, but this does beg the question... what exactly were you doing in the gay bar in the first place?

With some friends, its quite normal for straight people to go in gay bars in Manchester, unfortunately it was freshers week in my city and that night it was full of stupid people at a time it would normally be pretty quiet.

Lol! No, but for a girl who wants to go out with her friends and enjoy themselves without any hassle from straight guys, it's the ideal place, but then again, I live in the UK and testosterone filled steroid heads seem to be everywhere, urrghh!

I never quite understand this point of view, I can have a good time with my friends in straight bars and clubs, I guess its the kind of bars and clubs that one frequents that dictates how many fools are in said bar.

Yes, I suppose I am ;)

That part of my post was for the OP.

Well, obviously that's where we differ :)

Aint that the beauty of life, I'd rather not look like a screeming banshee in a bar by attacking a man, the lezbo that got a slap off me got it in the privacy of the ladies toilets, she only ended up getting a slap because she still seemed to think that it was okay to touch me up, after me clearly explaining that it's not appropriate behaviour!

Life / Openly gay in Poland [245]

As for gays, I would rather be in a nightclub full of them than in a nightclub full of straight men any day. Most of the gays that I know are straight acting and wouldn't ever consider touching up a straight man, unless of course they had good reason to believe that the other guy was curious.

How strange, are you a gay man? Because myself being a hetrosexual woman, I'd rather be in a club full of straight men. There are small amount of morons who think its okay to touch women up, simple answer is dont go to clubs full of morons.

As for the walk like a gay, smell like a gay and talk like gay...Oh well, I guess you're one of those.... I know gay men who, walk like a man, talk like a man and smell like a man, funny that isnt it them being men? The only thing that sets them apart from straight men is the fact that they are attracted to men and not women.

same if a straight man touched a woman inappropriately, he'd get a black eye from a six footer

No he wouldnt, because I for one have just walked away from idiots who thought it was okay to touch my ass, rather not give them the satisfaction, I did however slap some silly biatch in a gay bar who thought it was okay to touch my breasts, women should know better.

Real Estate / Foreigners: Please don't buy Polish Land! [823]

Poland and the UK did have a dark past for the time leading up at the end of ww2.

Please explain?

Also could you explain what that has to do with Polish people complaining about foreigners buying land when 1,000s of them have come to the UK and Ireland to work. The mind boggles really.

Real Estate / Foreigners: Please don't buy Polish Land! [823]

Does that go for foreign companies investing in Poland? Maybe Cadburies should have gone somewhere else, or maybe the 1,000s of Poles that came to the UK should have gone somewhere else.

Welcome to the EU, you cant actually stop people investing or buying land.

Love / Abuse in relationships (my first Polish girlfriend) [216]

if you're getting beaten by your spouse it only proves something is wrong with you as well as with her.

Not really, it means that you're dating a screwed up female, who you should turn your back on and walk away as fast as you can and never look back, violence of any kind is WRONG be from a woman or a man.

Swede is right here, I would just add something. Relax, do it with honest smile on your face, tell her that she looks sexy when angry and then offer sex. Big deal... :)

Yeah maybe women should try that when they're getting punched in the face by a bloke...not sure it'd work though.

Travel / Wot? No beer allowed on Polish PKP? [30]

I liked the signs in the trams in Krakow that used little pictures to advise you that you weren't allowed to "drink, eat, smoke or ............ play trumpets!!" At least I think that's what they meant ?!

The one at the trian station in Prague is even better, you were not allowed icecream or guns :) (imagine a sign with a cross through an icecream and a gun)

What a sick joke. I trhought the chaps in WARS on the Gdynia-Zakopane express were pulling my leg as in communist times when they said no beer is served today on Polish trains

If the law says no drinking then people shouldn't drink, you are disrespecting the laws of that country if you continue to act like a prick and drink in places you shouldnt.

News / Precedent set in Szczecin for offending homosexuals? [60]

What makes me laugh about this (actually it doesn't) is that gay people (yes I have gay friends and was out this afternoon with two female friends who are gay before you start) is that its okay to call a woman a w*ore and get away with it yet its not okay to use derogatory terms towards another section of the population without being sued for it?

Obviosuly I know there is a difference, but people set themselves apart regardless of their sexuality, personal preferences or religion, where does it stop? She called him a fag, which is slang term for a gay person, Im a bird, which is a term for a woman...I dont like being called a bird, but Im not going to sue someone! Whilst I might seem Im making light of that, I could make a case against a person for calling me a bird on the grounds that I find it sexist...see where Im going...

Poland has just entered the rediculous world of the EU!

News / French and Poles [146]

Being a Pole you should be very acquainted with that feeling.
