Life / Polish Integration with other Nationalities [150]

But I fancy all women, although perhaps oriental ones just slightly less.

Have you turned 30 yet? I didnt like oriental women at all till I turned 30. I think this is when the Ting-Tong lovin' gene kicks in. The 'sex tourism' gene comes a few years later I believe.

Most white men arent quite as keen on black/indian women as some white women seem to be on black/indian men. If white guys like girls who arent white they tend to be oriental girls.

News / What does Poland mean to you? [66]

Running away to another country for a bit of money is total cowardice

Says the person who has benefited by her parents migrating to a more economically prosperous nation. You make economic migration sound like greed when its a basic human desire to improve ones situation in life.

I've moved from the midlands(second worse poverty levels in Britain, lowest increase in wages) to London(worst poverty in Britain but excellent job opportunites) to improve my prospects in life. By your logic I should have stayed where I was and worked to improve the region even if it meant I had to get a low paying job in an industry I'm not skilled for or have any desire to work in. Bollox to that! No one will improve my situation but me, and its me who I work to benefit not some country or region.

Genuine question, do you read the Daily Mail?

Love / My polish g/f can be a nightmare,is it always like this [262]

Some people are like children and need boundaries. You're not giving her any as you're accomodating her on everything.
At what point do you tell her 'shut the f*ck up and make my dinner' just so you can see the look on her dumbfounded face?

News / France to lift job restrictions on Poles [84]

And if the UK had known the numbers in which people would arrive they would have done the same

The reason the numbers were so high for Britain was specifically because countries like Germany and France werent taking their fair share. Maybe Britains woefully poor estimates weren based on an assumption that the other member states would do their bit- not an unreasonable assumption given the 'United States of Europe' rhetoric that comes out of these countries.

Germany and France have opened their doors now because they know that these countries have more stable economies and the numbers leaving have decreased.

..as most of the ones who were going to leave are now in Britain.
It does rather look like the French and Germans said 'lets hang back and let Britain take the initial surge and then we'll come in after like nothing has happened'. To me thats not the united response that such a situation calls for.

News / France to lift job restrictions on Poles [84]

It does go against the central ethos of the EU which ironically the French and Germans always like to accuse the British of doing. When push came to shove though the french and germans decided EU brotherhood wasnt a good idea afterall and imposed restrictions.

News / France to lift job restrictions on Poles [84]

- So if a man works abroad and advises others not to do that he is necessarily a hypocrite? Why? Imagine the following situation. A man works abroad. The work is extremely dangerous and the man cannot quit yet. He knows some countrymen of his who don't know the work is so dangerous and consider going abroad and getting the job. He warns them not to come. Is he a hypocrite or an honest man?

You have taken advantage of opportunities that you wish to deny to others. That would make you a hypocrite in any language.

- Well, if some one whom I respect, that is some one intelligent, asked me the above question, I would satisfy his curiosity instantly, but when you're asking the question it's just too ad-hominem and invasive to me. Hence I won't tell YOU whether I have been working abroad or not.
:)

You're fooling no one by avoiding the question.

You dont seem too comfortable when you're not throwing sh1t at people or demanding that they back up any opinion they may have with a bibliography of verifiable sources. This doesnt seem to apply to yourself though which, again, makes you a hypocrite.

News / France to lift job restrictions on Poles [84]

- How specifically should those whereabouts of mine be relevant to the credence in question?

If you are/were taking advantage of working abroad and are telling others not to do so then this would make you a hypocrite.

Have you been working abroad?

Because if you're a Pole telling other Poles they shouldnt leave Poland and those that are abroad should return, then your whereabouts are relevant to how much credence people should give your opinions.

Life / Poles' tolerance towards other Races [190]

no offence to pols (im half polish!) there is no way they are better than hispanic!!

Educational, vocational and criminological statistics would contradict you on this point I think.

if africa wasn't colonised for sooooo long and taken into slavery by WHITE poeple

How long was this 'soooo long'? Longer than India was colonised by the Brits? The Indians arent using the days of the Raj as an excuse for their own shortcomings. Slavery existed in Africa before white people colonised the place. Also, this slavery could not have existed without the willing participation of a large section of the indigeneous popilation either. In short, stop blaming Whitey!

how is this fair to judge them now after all they've been through becouse of european??

How much time is an acceptable period before we can say 'err, actually you people aint running the place too well and you need to get your act together.' 100 years? 200?

History obviously plays its part in every countries current position. However to say that the current situation in Africa is entirely the result of 19th century European colonisation is bollox. Its more the fault of endemic corruption, ethnic strife and an AIDs epidemic. All these factor are created and worsened massively by the cultural norms of Africa.

Love / From a Turkish Man! What I heard about Polish girls from my friends :) [53]

A women's attractiveness is defined by personality, ability, sensitivity, intelect and many, many more attributes. Unless you're just looking for a prostitute.

You're saying that a woman should only be physically attractive if shes a prostitute?

News / So why is there so much animosity against Poles? [65]

Would the Polish Army let citizens of other countries join?

Good question. I think too often the debates are about how Britain isnt accommodating enough to foreigners, who in turn dont see the need to in any way return the favour.

Life / Smoking ban - will this be coming to Poland like other EU countries? [183]

Now I choose to smoke but cant go clubbing or to the pub and do so, so we are both being discriminated against.

Thats because your behaviour effects the health of others. If I enjoy juggling pint glasses it doesnt mean I should be allowed to do it in a crowded place.

UK, Ireland / Life in the UK for some Poles (sad article) [124]

Iam back in Poland.

Got a job? If so is it better paid and do people treat you better?

I'm interested to know because what Incubus said about the long working hours, unpaid weekend work, and w@nker bosses sounds exactly like the experience of every Polish person in Poland that I speak to. But hey, at least they're doing it whilst being proud to be Polish.

Life / Is there a "Polish Soul" or only Russians can claim a slavic soul? [6]

I'll let the Russians claim the "Slavic soul" as I couldn't care less about another stereotyped view of Poland and Poles (be it positive or negative).

Its often the second generation immigrants of any nationality who get all sentimental and misty eyed when they think about 'the motherland' and all it entails. Indigenous people tend to have little time for all that 'poetry in the soul' bollox.

Life / Do Polish people respect other cultures? [96]

Thanks. Those back to back episodes of 'Home and Away' on Channel 5 are really beginning to pay dividends. My accent is now so high-pitched and nasal that only dogs can hear it and I inflect every statement I make so that it sounds like a question.

Life / Do Polish people respect other cultures? [96]

Perhaps the problems of the Poles not being culturally aware of say Britain is perhaps more an issue of Britain not having much culture rather than a deficiency on the side of the Poles?

Yes, if only us Brits can learn to be as cultured as you Australians.

UK, Ireland / My Views Of Poles Working in the UK [169]

Swale is not representative of Britain. Sittingborne for instance has the largest percentage of indigenous people of anywhere in the south east of England.
