Hi Guy's,

As most of you probably know the deadline is coming up for doing your taxes here in Poland.
Literally I have no idea how to proceed with this, so I want to go for and accounting office in Krakow to get it done.

Can anyone recommend me one, or inform about a location for a place?
I off course tried to google it, unfortunately without any useful outcome.

Thanks a mill!

You don't need an accountant, it's a pretty simple form to complete. What I'd do is just ask someone that you work with - the form really doesn't take long at all to fill out. In your case, I'd just ask your boss - they really shouldn't have a problem with doing it for you.

Accountants will try and charge you a lot of money for doing it, but there's absolutely no need.

If you are working on umowa o prace (standard contract) haven't change the employer in 2012, don't have any additional incomes, don't run a company etc. It's a piece of cake... at least for somebody, who knows Polish... you should get PIT11 at work and you basically write it down into PIT... 37 (as far as I remember) and check If you need to pay/get back anything... unless accounting department at work screwed up something, there should be nothing more to pay... you can bring it completed to the tax office and person behind the desk may scheme it to check if it is correct... and that's it... for a Polish speaking person it's a matter of 15 minutes, better buy a beer someone from work to get it done for you or ask accounting people, If they employ foreigners, they should help with it...no need to spend any extra money.

That is exactly my case.
I'll just try to ask someone around me then for a hand.

Thanks a lot for both of your reply's!

PIT DECLARATION ON INTEREST ON SAVING

For interest earned on deposits (savings) in Poland during the previous tax year (for example 1 Jan 2016-31 Dec 2016) does this interest have to be declared on any PIT (or any other) tax return to the Poland tax office along with any other income earned in Poland during that tax year?
