Feedback / Editing time too short (5 minutes currently) [60]

And the short edit time is nonsense as well,

It makes perfect sense. If you write some stupid thing and someone point it out then you can't go back and edit it saying that you have never said that like many awkward posters would like to do.

UK, Ireland / Do people in Poland live "better" than here in the UK? [150]

Dont gag me yo:NOT EVEN, poles still live better quality of life with less money, why do you think so many brits choose to come to poland?
because of women?

It's one of the reasons indeed. There is a shortage of women in the UK mainly due to the immigration which are men in majority. Then Poland where disproportion is the other way round is a good choice for those who for usually clear reasons don't want to get involved in the competition.

It was most likely a redneck from some God forsaken village next to the boarder with Belarus.

Language / Polish regional accents? [141]

I think that one irritates me even more than the Russian melody of the speach found in some cities in Podlasie but I didn't notice any men talking like that, only women.

Language / Grammar of traditional birthday song "Sto Lat" [13]

Happy birthday to you" is obviously directed at the celebrant. I suspect that there's a grammatical rule that I don't understand

why is "For (S)He's a Jolly Good Fellow" in third person? I'm not a native English speaker. I suspect that there's a grammatical rule that I don't understand. Turbowicz can you please explain me that?

Love / Any Polish Muslim girls living in Poland? [103]

that's why I would never move there. Westerners moving there obey the rules but muslims coming to the west don't, just use political correctness as a weapon against us.

Love / Why are Polish girls so attracted to German boys? [52]

So ethnic Polish women can't possibly marry a German, that's what you're saying?

How did you get to this conclusion is absolutely beyond me.

And ofc it has nothing to do with the fact that Germany is our neighbour

He was told that many times in the other thread but does not want to comprehend.

Love / Why are Polish girls so attracted to German boys? [52]

I very much doubt that. For one thing, German men are much taller than Spanish men.

Truth and German men are much more taller than Italian men.

Paternal DNA haplogroup studies show that much of the modern English population is the result of Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, and other Germanic men taking Celtic women as wives and impregnating them.

and as always you don't provide any link for the studies

Why are people still stupid enough to reply to a topic like this? He is clearly trying to get a rise out of you.

This is the problem with those guest accounts constantly starting the trolling topics. They shouldn't be allowed.

Life / Is it common for Polish people to speak English in Poland? [122]

owing to, what I call, "the Homer Simpson effect"; Americans are SUPPOSED to be ignorant of foreign languages

Have you ever thought that "the Homer Simpson effect" is the insecurity that you have in your own head? It's rather you thinking that people see Americans as a stupid ones.

Life / Is it common for Polish people to speak English in Poland? [122]

I know what I heard and I can assure everyone reading this post that the people whose phonetics I mimicked were Poles and NOT Russians!!

I not saying they were Russians, I said that you are lying that they were saying "vot" "vaj" etc. just back your bs up and find one video on youtube of a Pole saying like that, you won't :-)

Once again you are getting back to that what was clearly explained to you by me and Magdalena in the other topic, too bad fruitlessly. There is no chance that you can convince anyone on this forum that those people were saying "vot" "vaj" with the V sound. There is W sound in Polish and it's £. Only Eastern Europeans have tendencies of saying that as they have no W sound so they replace it with their closest V sound. I know that you won't acknowledge that because you don't want to but at least you can't have an excuse that nobody told you :-)
