Do you really think the American people of today are that prejudiced against Polish people on their own that when they see someone Polish they're going to go ridicule them?

Most no, maybe stupid teenagers but most adults don't say anything like that, not to be mean.
Guys i worked with were Irish American, we were always joking around me saying i'd say something like" 3 Irish guys leaving a bar _________________Hey, it could happen" He say some Polish joke about being stupid, or hard headed it was never serious.

i was just walking in the street last summer and i got beaten by 3 NORMAL guys they started with swearing punshing and kicking my face and head

Man, that's every country, you sound like that's the first time you got in a fight. You can't show that you're scared. Next time you see they're getting ready to attack you go at them first attack the biggest one.

By the end of this year Polish Airlines LOT will get the first 3 of 8 brand new Boeing 787s with an option for an additional 6. Airbuses counterpart is the A350 which will enter service around the same time. Generally who makes better planes now, Boeing or Airbus?

yeah, in fact they are so white they reflect so much light when standing in the spotlight they look like those low energy cost spiral light bulbs.

No No she's thinking like some idiots in this country who say we're not white but Caucasian, that white in only white Americans if you're European you're Caucasian or you're black only if you're African American. i had a thread about this Why Polish aren't white?? those of us who live in the States and are foreign born heard this many times, unless you live out somewhere...

Well girls who wear that much make up do so to cover imperfections up not to look slutty, more makeup more need to hide something. Like i said before girl in the morning after shower, that's her true beauty.

News / Warsaw: trial of cop killers [3]

Two men who stabbed to death a police officer Andrew Struja face 25 years in prison, because at the time of the crime under 18 years of age.

N. Mateusz and Piotr R. admit to participate in the Feb. 10 incident during which a policeman Andrew Struj, was fatally stabbed.

Witnesses are mainly the tram passengers and pedestrians. One witness saw a fight between men, but did not see the fact of murder, one of the passers-by saw the whole incident, which was attended by both defendants.

Godmother to the murdered Andrew Struja Maria, holds no secret that she regrets that this day nobody helped the lone police officer. She added that Andrew Struj always responded to breaking of the law. Matthew N. accused admits to the task blows with a knife, but said he did not want to kill the policeman. Peter R. accused of complicity in the assassination, said only that he tried to move the policeman who wanted to overpower his colleague.

They killed at the bus stop

The murder took place 10 February 2010 at the streetcar stop in Wola. 42-year-old officer drew attention to two young men who first cursed at the streetcar stop, and then - when they boarded the tram - rushed towards one of the wagons bin. One of the boys - as it turned out, Peter R. - held the police officer, second - Matthew N. dealt several blows with a knife.

Despite resuscitation, Struja could not be saved, died in hospital. A few minutes after the incident police arrested a young man who asked punches, a few hours later his companion. The indictment in this case, the District Prosecutor of Warsaw-Wola sent to court in October last year.

Struj served in the police force for 15 years. He worked in the department of intelligence and command-patrol the capital. Two daughters orphaned. At a time when he was assassinated, he was on vacation. Posthumously he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Restitution and Polish Cross of Merit for Bravery. He was promoted to the sub.

I know what is beautiful and what is not, no matter what ones type is, from young girls 20's and teens half the girls in Poland are pretty or very pretty, just walking on the street you can see some real beauties.

The picture probably most Poles of the West have is not so good, but as I said, if you are open minded trying to understand both sides of the story, the vodka will run all evening long :-))

As people in in the West have of the East. Poles know history very well it's just others believe wholeheartedly that their version is correct and don't wanna listen to what Poles say. That's ignorance and arrogance as you said yourself.

A truly attractive woman doesn't need make-up. I've said this to a group of female professionals and almost all of them gave me 'the look'.

Yes go to a Polish club in Poland or in New York, you can see many many Polish girls with little or no makeup and are gorgeous.

Depends highly on the arrogance with which you present yourself. Your's completely out of place Mädchen.

The reason you get that impression of Poles and history, is because you believe your version of history is true and theirs isn't. America, Britain think they "saved us" that we lost in September in a few weeks attacking tanks with horses and sabers, and that's it. If people knew that Polish Armed Forces were 4th largest after Soviet Union, US, and Britain, and did more than some French, battle of Britain, Normandy, Monte Casino, Berlin, Pomerania and that the west betrayed us [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_betrayal] maybe just maybe they'd see that we're right about how history went about. And Poles know fully well all the west did or tried to do for Poland, but what it didn't do or didn't try is much more.
