Yes, Równia, once Orthodox, today RC.

Not sure. They all have rucksacks. Are they waiting for a tour guide or to get trail maps? Being shown some local custom?

Yes, they have rucksacks but it doesn`t matter. What matters is their posture. It was the first hint. :) Soon another one.

The whole Bieszczady area, makes me want to go hiking :)

Hmm, I could show you our trip to Bieszczady in a seperate photo story with uncut pics. Or you prefer to explore on your own?

News / Prescription drug crisis in Poland [3]

Interestingly the term 'nielegalny wywóz' (illegal export)

This way or another, PiS government is to blame for the situation. I read an article about it, there are already proper regulations to deal with the problem but PiS are delaying to use them, nobody knows why.

The opposition is exploiting the shortage of medicine in their campaign.

Yes, Wołosate, destroyed after WW2, it wasn`t a village for decades until 2017.

The whole area looks beautiful.

The area of Wołosate or everything?

live in Czarna,

Czarna? Another riddle is black, then:

What and where?

First yes - he wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of romantic freedom in Bieszczady. I also recall our trip there with nostalgia - if not for those hordes of tourists on hiking trails, the place was really fantastic. :):)

Second yes - Lake Solina made by a dam built in 1960s..

This village used to be densely populated for centuries. After the war, the population dropped to one dozen (twelve inhabitants) for decades.

Which one?

Nope, sth more personal.
But as it was a riddle within a riddle, we don`t need to suffer this pain. He wrote only 3 words: Żeby zostać dłużej - Let me stay longer.

Why did he write it?

Next one:
Where are they?

Language / Myśląc "Polska" - Does new PiS motto.... really mean anything? [20]

- Myśląc "Polska", będziemy troszczyć się o najbiedniejszych.

The shortened version is supposed to sound as a catchy slogan and I think a copywriter did a good job.
The fact that the slogan is purely false is another matter - those traitors don`t think of Poland, only about their positions. .

He wanted donations of course, but didn`t express it directly. Instead, he described the need for those donations in a funny/unusual way. What exactly ?

Yes. I remember the last few hundred meters of the trail were very exhausting - steep, rocky and boiling hot.

BTW, the man playing the guitar had a piece of paper on the ground. What was written on it?

Apart from Wiki, there is also google search.

Here is Filip/Philip looking absolutely beautiful in these pictures :);)

Yes. I am not sure if he still roams those pastures.

Where is the man playing?

Hmm. Red deer are Cervus elaphus, and the subspecies is C. e. hippelaphus, is it anything to do with that?

No, I mean a standard first name used for human males. That deer was famous at the time as the one who wasn`t afraid of tourists climbing one of Bieszczady peaks. It was hikers who gave him the name. .

Hint - the name comes from Greek.

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

Germany "lost" the War yet won the (economic) peace: Welcome to the Fourth, and thus far richest, Reich!

Heil Adenauer! Heil Erhard! Heil every German chancellor who contributed to it!

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

we lock US bases down

No, you don`t. It is Americans who have been closing them down due to their budget cuts. When the Cold War finished, there was no need to keep so many GIs in Germany. And always when it happened, Germans sucked American d....., begging Yankees not to do it because local authorities and Germans would lose their easy income.

Insult USA nonstop, oppose them

Yes, it is natural, after all it was Americans who conquered and occupied most of Germany, not the opposite. If the USA had done it to my country, I would be furious too. :):)

In 2014 americans wanted open a military hospital in thüringen to treat wounded american soldiers

I tried to find this info on Deutsche Internet and couldn`t. Could you direct me to the proper German site which describes that event?

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

Wrong, my state has no american base

By state do you mean one of der deutschen Länder - I guess Thüringen - or the whole country? If the whole country, then you are wrong, there are about 30 US bases in Germany. If you mean only Thuringen, it also sounds strange , as if you were kind of a secessionist, like in American Civil War of 1861-65.

This way or another, very funny. :)

Overestimates its importance in the outside world

Wow, Velund, almost no mistakes in your post. I see the topic of Poland sucking Am d... is so dear to your heart that you try to be careful and neat with your English. Good.

This way or another, amusing. :)

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

But Germans also sucked American d.. in the past and they still do. Where are the biggest American bases in Europe? In Germany. Why? Because Germans sucked so much and so strong that pleased Americans agreed not to move them to Poland although there were such plans. Simple. Both Germans and Poles are American d... suckers. Do you think it is wrong?

Talk about "Trump" = Random.

Oops. OK, Trump is touchy. :):)

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

That`s funny. Trump has issues with the current German government/Chancellor who you reject as marxist or socialist, whatever. Logically, you should be Trump`s ally as he also doesn`t like socialism. Yet, you sound like you aren`t. Can you explain this inconsistency and lack of logic? Talk about "Trump" = Random.

Life / Three Reasons Why Poles Are Not Regular Human Beings... [16]

E.g, Rich, tell us, why does the chicken cross the road/path/country lane?

Of course, don`t give us standard answers. We expect sth more intelligent from you.

:):) Rich, I see you prefer not to undergo another intelligence test after the previous ones which you didn`t do so well.
Here is the correct answer for you and you can use it whenever you hear the question, e..,g asked by one of your granddaughters.

Kid: Grandpa, can I ask a you a riddle? Why did the chicken cross the road?

You will say: Dear peanut, the answer is banal. Hordes of undocumented fowl garbage erroneuosly called chicken crossed the road to steal jobs from decent hard working Americans, especially from the leading white race and suck benefits and free medical care. This is outrageous, and Dems are idiots. I hate them but I love my country.

Later your grandkid can use the answer when testing her mates at pre school.

Don`t thank me.

Life / Three Reasons Why Poles Are Not Regular Human Beings... [16]

Only people who are scared use riddles

Hmm, quite doubtful, my psychology course didn`t say anything about it. However, it said that exposing people to riddles is a good way of checking their intelligence and general aptitude. :)

E.g, Rich, tell us, why does the chicken cross the road/path/country lane?

Quite sure about that, paw?

Ok ,after brainstorming other options, it is also possible he tried to be humorously provocative.
