Sooner or later you will meet someone who wont take a bribe - your rate of being stopped is quite high, I'm about once a year and I pay a legitimate fine all the time. Either you are driving too fast or you have an attention grabbing car.

As Doug says you need to take the steps to sort it out now. Getting papers is boring but I lived in a few countries and they all required some localization of my documents whether for work, residency, driving, health etc - if you are Einstein then do the sensible thing :)))

I think since the direct connections to Tbilisi with LOT it has now become a bit of a trendy holiday for Warsaw hipsters - a few weeks ago I spoke to a guy who had been on a bachelor party there. Also went to a dinner party this summer and the host had been to Georgia and his wife made some dishes which were excellent.

in the 90s there was quite a community of Armenians, some pretty shady but plenty of legit guys. they used to have some kebab places round X-lecia stadium which were excellent (at least compared to the culinary standards of 90s Poland !!)

In Warsaw you will really struggle to live on that. Its minimum wage and nobody in Warsaw pays minimum wage any more - you could probably get 3500 washing dishes or stacking shelves in Biedronka. Ask for more or wait for something better

Probably due to the distance to Warsaw. Lublin is a 2-3 hour drive and similar by train. But Rzeszow used to be about 6 hours by train and drive time about tbe same. So flying made some sense.

Before 2004 then most regional airports only connected Warsaw maybe 2-3 times a day and there were a handful of international connections to Vienna and Copenhagen. I have vague memories of tbeir being a direct flight from Rzeszow to Newark or was that some crazy dream.

you would have a good chance of finding work anywhere in Europe with those qualifications - finance plus accounting plus English and German is a great combination. With that background you could get work in Warsaw even without speaking Polish.

SGH is good but you would probably have a better education and better network possibilities in Dublin and Brexit is going to make the job market for finance in Dublin very strong.
