Harry pre and post communism the rynek in my old town was full of Ukrainians, Russians, Georgians but those people didn't live there permanently and didn't have a good opinion with the locals who thought they cheat them. What I think Seanus means is a diverse different class group of Slavs coming to live permanently in Poland. Most Poles would agree it would be the easiest for them to integrate (similar language and culture) then other Europeans. I'm not saying I'd want Warsaw to become London but a little diversity is good. I think the government made the right move with this. I'm not sure if it happened but Fiat was reminded by the Italian government when the recession struck the Italian Peninsula that it's an Italian firm and should move it's main production from Poland back to Italy. ceper Polish people in Stalowa Wola found work elsewhere, opened up a business or went abroad to seek employment that's why Stalowa Wola didn't deteriorate, I actually saw much improvement, like new modern housing blocks and roads. WB Nuneczka is American born and WWII vet, a little respect. As for me I'm Polish but since I've been here since I was a child and acquired a citizenship I feel both Polish and American.
