Leeds double rapist jailed for 10 years
24 April 2009

A POLISH chef who brutally raped two prostitutes within hours in Leeds city centre has been jailed for ten years.
Leeds Crown Court heard Jacob Luniewski, 26, of Holbeck, was a "model European citizen" with a wife and young family who had come to the UK to earn cash and better themselves.

After finishing work as a chef at a city centre restaurant late one night last November Luniewski got drunk before setting
off home towards the Hilton Hotel.

Apart from the victims of this animal , i feel sorry for his family , and Polish people living in the UK , who might be a little less welcome there after incidents such as this....

Oh , well that makes it ok then...and as for who know what happen , the girls he raped know what happen , as do the Police and the courts that found him guilty....

In the UK its illegal to rape anybody , no matter who they are , maybe its different in your country , but it didn,t happen in your country.....

They are human and were forced into a sexual act so therefore a crime was committed against them.

It seems pretty clear it was him.

They may well be but this happened in the UK and as far as I'm aware there were no Albanians involved.

I have heard stories of how rejected English women would accuse Polish guys of rape as a form of vengance - this does not look the case here though

maybe the man did not hurt thes woman.

He dragged one to the ground by her hair , the second one had her finger broken as he twisted her arm up her back....It might be considered fun in Albania , but this was the UK , and people from other countries have to obey the law , or face the courts for their crimes....

There was a Polish man among the suspects , also a doctor and a member of the English royal family....but nobody has been proved to be the Ripper....

Leeds double rapist jailed for 10 years

They'll probably send this ******* back to Poland and he'll get released in a few weeks. Bacause here in Poland rape is just a casual crime!

Right £ukasz?

Our court decided that it was causal case.

It's a crime and has a punishment. Why should it give an idea about polish people ? Aren't there any English rapist in England.

It shouldn,t , but you know what people can be like....there are people in the UK who resent the Poles coming to UK and working and living there , stuff like this getting in the news will just give some idiots more reason to shout Poles go home.....!

There are "nutters" everywhere and in every walk of life. It just becomes sensationalised and sells downmarket tabloids if the nutter comes from Poland, something a bit different. It actually detracts from the main issue, which is a person has been traumatised, probably for the rest of her life, and may need councelling for the rest of her life, but of course this is insignificant because it does not sell newspapers.

Absolutely.

It just becomes sensationalised and sells downmarket tabloids if the nutter comes from Poland, something a bit different.

That's right, they just like to highlight Polish nutters even though there are less of them than British nutters. In Britain anyway.

It's also a bit worrying. Some British clowns who read and swear by the tabloids then start to just see "Polish person did negative that, Polish person did negative this" coupled with all the junk about Poles taking jobs etc. and all of a sudden there's an attack on some innocent Polish person? Why? Because a bad Polish person did something. The tabloid press ought to be restricted on their sensationalism.

which is a person has been traumatised, probably for the rest of her life, and may need councelling for the rest of her life, but of course this is insignificant because it does not sell newspapers.

Exactly. The victims don't even get a look in.

I think it shows a great improvement in the law that sex-workers are seen as equal victims. Not too long back many judges would have said the same as thebear.

You cannot rape a prostitute, the actual term is theft, taking goods without paying.

Of course you can rape a prostitute. If she didn't give her consent and you forcibly penetrated her with your penis then it's rape.

Wow 10 years, that's a light sentence. Is this normal for the UK? In canada it's 25 years minimum for rape. In some US states, you could get life in prison or the death penalty.
