Jar 1 | 10 9 May 2007 / #1I have been dating a guy for around a month now and i have always been very independant and enjoy my own space, friends etc.He seems to understand this as i explained in the beginning that i had just come out of a long relationship and wanted to take things slow.He is really nice and i dont want to upset or confuse him, can anyone offer some kinda guidance?

You explained what you needed and he understands. Problem solved? If hes happy and youre both having fun and you're just with each other he'll be fine. He sounds like he has the best of both worlds. Fun stuff and not too much commitment.
Ranj 21 | 947 9 May 2007 / #5I agree with UKinpoland.....he doesn't sound confused to me unless there is something you haven't told us.....the only sound advice I can give you is to be true to yourself.....if he starts to pressure you for something more or becomes possessive, then stand your ground.....if that upsets him, then he's probably not the guy for you.
