My good Polish friend said she would marry me so I could stay in UK..

hi.
im hoping someone here can help me.
im from south africa,living in the uk.
i have to go home soon but a very good polish friend of mine said we can marry for me to stay in the uk.

the problem is i dont know where to begin.
i have lots of questions that need answering,like
how long will it take to get a passport once we are married?
where do i have to get married?
can i carry on working in the uk once i get married?
is it hard to go about doing this?(getting a passport)
i would really appreciate it if someone can help me!!!!

getting married just so you can stay in a country is not right - it makes a mockery of to many values...

and posting your plans on a public forum might tempt immigration to come a-knocking...

Weel hope you stay married , cause if its just for the visa thats low man ! Anyway it wont be easy best is to read it up on UK Emassy in London web page ull see they ask for a " Letter of no impediment " which SA doesnt offer and i had to go to some courts cases to get mine. Thats why we rather got married in Poland , after all this which takes a month i got a residents card to stay which only will allow me to work in UK if my wife as a job too uk in , let me tell you its very hard and best if you go to Embassy.

that is un ethical, our great british principles are ethical.. if you carry ut this sort of behaviour you are only lying to your self. it is a criminal offence we do not want criminals in great britain

Well if they get found out, he gets deported and at best she will get kicked out of the UK and worst she will go to prison, its illegal, what joke it....I people wonder why the British get a tad peed off!
