oh dear this is turning into a horrible lonely hearts thread. We have all been there, but life goes on and what doesn't kill you will ultimately make you stronger. Its hard to see when you are in the midst of heartbreak, but everything happens for a reason and there is always someone better around the corner...just depends on how long it takes you to turn that corner.. .everyone keep positive for 2009!

I love that comment by Harry about playing several leagues ahead in Poland..this thread might be a reason not to do that.. its better to go for someone in your own league or you might end up regretting it when they look for an upgrade.

The point is that upgrades are not available in Poland. All the halfway decent guys have a girlfriend which very jealously guards them!

you better make sure you dont leave Poland then or she might widen her options!

But what you are suggesting insinuates that there are more single women than men in Poland so they are left with no option but to date foreigners. Is that true?

Is that true?

It's true in Wroclaw. The ratio of male to females is 100 to 113. When you realize that this a university city with up to 100,000 students... then the women meet a shortfall in men.

(The figure was given to me. I've never seen it written down.)
