the problem is that the vast majority of people against homosexuality aren't even religious, just not open to the idea that the world is changing for whatever reason.

Most people think they know what there talking about on the basis on what they think and how they see it or what the person up the road says.....when they are not even gay themselves ! its abit like,if i started talking about and making references about Poland and the Polish culture, some of you would think -: "what you know about it,your not even Polish - your English".

And no doubt, the answer some might come out with is - "well if its a genetic disorder, then we can change the genetics to supress or even take out the genes responsible for being gay".

But then this goes on the borders of developing the perfect race on the spec and opinion of dictation and forcing your ideas and ethics....and if you recall,a certain person in germany many years ago,had a similar view.

This has been around since the beginning of evelution and i dont think being gay is a genetic order, because if it was, evelution would of taken it out of the the genetics and i wouldnt exist.....and many others, including the closet ones too :)

ya know thats true.. I have my own beliefs,, I believe in god. I think those who
are gay do as well. the bible is interpreted by man..lets face it folks.. we have
Priests who arent free of sin.. no matter how many times they go to confession
it wont help them when they are doing some disgusting things to young boys...

this is not media attention its truth.. so for them to stand up on a stage
Preaching to their congregation that being gay is bad.. look in their own
backyard..

Jay.. its possible that it it genetic.. and no you wouldnt be extinct.. wiped off the
earth.. there are men born with more hormones ( female) and there are women
born with more male.. I dont think we have tried to discover why there is a
preference two males or two females.. because people dont want to take large
sums of donation money and figure out which gene causes this.. they just want
to turn their backs on it and blame..

who knows it could be because years ago.. their was inbreeding.. and a great deal
of the recessive genes stem from that.

I am still learning about it. * genes *

Homosexuals in Poland

I am a very curious person by nature and random questions pop in my head all the time. I was just wondering, for those living in Poland and would be able to best answer this, do you think there are more gays and lesbians in Poland than in other countries or less or maybe an average amount?

Poland is one of the most open countries to homosexuals in the world. There is now a law that every person with foreign passport can enter Poland freely provided he is homosexual.Governement even thinks of giving gays discounts for buses, trains to move easily and spread freedom.

There are prob about the same percentage just as every other country in the world. I would say many young ones leave the country in order to live more open lives.

You make the joke about discounts for buses/etc but the Metro system in Warsaw recently decided to provide benefits for gay couples.

lol, that made me laugh, who really cares what someones sexuality is, I have gay and hetrosexual friends and there is no difference in the way they act or live.

I'm not worried or anything. I am not a homophobe. I have had friends in the past that were gay, and my uncle is gay. It's not something that I am scared of. And I know they live there lives like any other person would. Like I said I just am very curious and often times I have random questions pop in my head. That's all.

But now that I'm on the topic, I can't stand closed minded people that are afraid to even be around a gay person. I always say to guys like that, "You like girls right?" and when they say yes, then I ask them if they are attracted to all girls, and when they say no, then I say "Ok, so just because a guy is gay, why do you automatically assume he's going to try and hit on you or be attracted to you?"

And I understand if you have the religious belief that homosexuals are commiting sins and everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. Just don't try and push them on other people.

Ok, sorry I went on another rant again. I'm done now. :-)

I dont mind gay people at all but when they show it in your face in a rude or crude way then thats not cool, My brother used to work with a gay guy who always was making comments about my brother to the point my brother had to avoid him, I have a problem with that.

One of my best friends is gay.
He never really came out clean about it in poland. Just recently when he came to UK he is open about it.
From his expirience: Young generation of polish people have nothing against being gay but older people still treat is a kind of sickness or sin. He was told by few older people in poland that "they will pray for him"...

"they will pray for him"...

and he will need this pray, you cant be gay whole life, have you ever seen a couple of 60 years old gays? you will see in about 20 - 30 years, mental hospitals will be full of them when they finally grow up but its gonna be a bit to late... its their choice, they can do what they want

What kind of question is this? They're probably doing the same things most 60 yr olds do on a daily basis. Maybe they're playing cards and vacationing by the Baltic :)

They're probably doing

thats the point, youre just guessing but know nothing, in most cases truth is a bit difrent... I have nothing against gays but I met one at age of 54 and he woke up and said being gay leads to nowhere also he said there is much more of them like this...
Zgubiony 15 | 1,553

But they live like anyone else. Of course you'll find some that 'wake up', but I don't see how everyday life would be different.
