Is there money in English Proof Reading in Poland?

I am moving to Gdansk in the next four weeks. I have managed to secure a couple of part time jobs, this still leaves me a little short of the money I would like to earn. I have been told that I could proof read but I don't have any connections in how to get into this field. I do not speak polish, so I am not looking to translate. I am looking to proof read english documents. Can anyone help as my time is running out?

Cheers

If there is (mostly government documents or patents maybe), the pay isn't very good. There is more demand for translation (even though there's a lot of cheap competition on the market) than proofreading.

English proof-reading work - available in Poland

Is this widely available in Poland? How does it pay?

I would say the market is saturated; there are many companies or freelancers that do that. However, the quality of their job is usually average so there's always a chance for improvement.
