BubbaWoo 33 | 3,506 26 Feb 2007 / #2how many words is it - i think the going rate is about a pint per 1OOO...
BubbaWoo 33 | 3,506 26 Feb 2007 / #4but seriously...what level is the thesis written at - undergrad/postgrad?how long is it?who are you doing it for?what are the asking you to do - correct language or content?
OP youngman 26 Feb 2007 / #6i don't know the word count, all i know is that it may be about five chapters, and i'll have to do each part twice (language not content) - undergrad. - long: ? - how should it be charged? x zl per page or 1,000 words - it doesn't feel right taking a lot of money from a student!
BubbaWoo 33 | 3,506 26 Feb 2007 / #8i have charged international students in the uk both by the page or by word count and worked these out in relation to what i feel i can do in an hour... there are wide variations in language ability... experience has also taught me to establish from the start if they are expecting you to correct their errors... or just highlight them...i really think it is up to the two of you to sit down and work out what is fair... the price i charge my friends is in my first post... which where i live is not far off 15zl per 1OOO
