News / nasza klasa in the news. [11]

It's all in the privacy settings. You can get rid of the 'message' option so that only your frinds can write to you.

I dont use it enough to bother with settings, I only really use it now and again, but my info is hidden from those that are not on my friends...

There is no difference between GG and MSN

One in Polish the other in English ;0)

Facebook is overall more secure. You can really look at people's profikes without first adding them as a friend. the same with sending messages.

You can send messages to people who are not on your friends list on FB, you can also view a persons profile if they are stupid enough to have that option, most only give limited access to none friends. FB is a bago poo most of the time, random people who you havent seen for years and never want to see again wanting to be your friend...no thanks!

News / 14 year old rape victim from Warsaw denied abortion! [348]

hello. stats are not completely realistic in this area. My 'personal experience', for example, surely was never given a place in any statistical poll.

You say you are not pro-abortion, yet you openly admit you had one? You were unlucky, nothing more, there are millions of women that have abortions, as Ive stated these women are just fine. As for not given a place in stats, you went back to the hospital, they recorded the fact you had an abortion that had caused problems...this would count towards medical stats - how do you think they get these stats in the first place?

a 'legal' abortion, done in a clinic, about 4-6 weeks conception time at most.

As for your comments about how far gone you were and they performed a surgical termination, I find this hard to believe since up until about 10 years ago, they did not perform surgical terminations until a woman was at least 8 weeks pregnant, so for you to say you were only 4 to 6 weeks, Im a bit sceptical.

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

Therefore I don't see why anyone would still want to be using it, let alone call the corner shop "The Paki Shop".

Id say its quite offensive, since most corner shops are actually owned by Indians :D

UK, Ireland / English tossers give Brits a bad name in Poland [139]

Don't tar us all with the old firm brush.

Isnt that what this thread is all about?

A bunch of bigots travelling down South

150,000 is hardly a bunch now is it?

those were old firm fans you had rioting in Manchester.

How about the ones that were pi$$ing up the side of M&S at 5pm when I was leaving work, were they all old firm fans?

Cardno, I have no issues with the Scots, but its a bit of a cheek to call the English names when the Scots do exactly the same.

Branded Scotland's Shame by most of the papers and public up here.

guardian.co.uk/media/2009/jan/28/local-newspapers-newspapers

All they were trying to do was sell papers sweetie...They even went against the wishes of the police authories in Manchester.

Just compare the Tartan Army and English fans abroad.

Oh yeah the Scots behaved lovely when they were in Manchester...a pargon of all that is good about the Tartan army...Give me a break! Justice is being done though and some of your fellow scots will be residing in Strangeways soon :D

I'll a few things what they did when they were in Manchester:

The ripped open our cleaners blouse as she was walking in the street with bags in her hands.

They called on of my work colleagues and English b*tch.

They were pi$$ing in the street.

They brought small children with them whilst they were getting to drunk to even stand up.

The women were foul mouthed disgusting football shirt wearing hags.

The men were foul disgusting animals.

They trashed my city, it looked like there had been war there was that much broken glass on Market Street...

All in all, they showed us English that we're not that bad after all.

English tossers need to learn to get a grip and learn to handle their drink.

Thats funny the first time I was in Krakow it was Scotish tossers that were being pricks...

"oh yeah and your guys did this" childish drivel. Go make your own thread about whatever you want instead of off-topicing and trolling in here.

Im not trolling, I just get sick of comments about the British and how phucking terrible we are! Im not excusing what these pricks did, I was merely pointing out that whilst people complain about our behaviour abroad, we have the same problems with other nationalities here in the UK.

People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones!

Wouldn't you 'bang on' if you were treated as a second class citizen because of the colour of your skin, hair, eyes or your nationality etc. I'd be bloody angry

How about the descrimination against whites in their own country? Asians and blacks being selected for jobs simply to fill quotas! Please, if they are so bothered why do they still come here?

Districts of big cities have always had changing fortunes, even before mass immigration. There have always been slums, even some 'white flight' areas are pretty foul.

Not as foul as they are now, by the way, the "slums" were demolished and that was the creation our lovely social housing.

Poles are a very large, and generally liked, part of our nation's population.

Agreed.

Thirdly, there's no 'propaganda' from me. Unlike one or two other posters in this thread. Nor am I 'lefty'.

You keep telling yourself that.

Oh yeah because Poles are a credit to their country when they're in England, be thankful those Brits were just being brutal with pigeons!

Two Polish men who kicked a man to death in a "frenzied attack" have been jailed for life for murder.

Piotr Pustelnik, 28, and Adrian Cybula, 23, launched an unprovoked attack on Noel Smith in Bedford on 31 January.

Mr Smith, 49, of Beauchamp Court, Bedford, died three days later when his life support machine was turned off, Luton Crown Court heard.

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

Some parts of the world have a population explosion.

Where because I read an article that stated child birth is in decline all over the world, even in developing countries, the whole need for lots of kids to support the family isnt necessary, since the way people provide for their families has changed.

So do white kids in the inner-city.

Agreed, but stats show that mixed raced kids are more likely to commit crimes.

So what to do about it other than moaning?

What do you want me to do Jonni?

All but the very best and the very worst areas have constantly changed. That's the nature of society. But how to make positive change?

The nature of British society was that areas became more prosperous, since mass immigration from developing countries, areas which were just fine as disgusting ghettos.

What has skin colour got to do with anything?

You should ask the same question to black people who are constantly banging on about being black and proud or that black is beautiful...

By the way Jonni This is a Polish forum, not one for you to spread your lefti proproganda about multiculturalism in Britain.

Love / My Polish girlfriend checks my mobile phone all the time [70]

so what if you trust .. and then find out that your trust was misplaced? but by that point you love someone and have small children and a life with them?

You end up like my friend who was 3 months pregnant and her partner of 10 (nearly 11 years and already have an 8 year old daughter) was shaggin some Polish dog at work...My friend kicked him out (new years day this year), had the baby and he's a prick! But all's well that ends well, he cries every time he comes to see the children, that he's made a big mistake and that this girl is off her head and my friend, despite the fact she has two kids, is back with her first love..arrrr dont you just love a happy ending :D

She found him out when he started buying new clothes and acting differently, she went on the family computer only to see in the history that he'd been looking at hotels and a Polish / English translator...BTW, this girl was already married (all of 7 months)..Some poor South African guy who will probably get deported...

To the OP, I always say "evil thinkers evil doers" so she was checking your phone out because she probably knows what she's capable of!

I don't feel swamped.

Why should you, you dont live in the UK - you live in a homogenous society with no racial tension.

Without immigration, who's going to care for us all in our aging society?

More propaganda, every country has an aging population and child birth is on decline - of course we need immigration, but we need the right kind of immigration.

It can be a shock to walk through some districts of our cities, but we have to get used to this and make the best of it.

Make the best of it? Why should I, as an English person why have to make the best of it, when there are solutions.

I was looking out of my window not long ago, disturbed by noisy kids in the street. It occurred to me that none of them were completely black and none were completely white. But they were all British. They are our future - and we have to make it our society a home for them all..

Not long ago? You dont even live here Jonni, you may come for a flying visits but you no longer know the reality. Your idea of this wonderful utopia, isnt mine, as for our future, these lovely mixed raced kids generally come from broken homes and there's a higher chance of them committing crimes.

The black immigrants that came in the '50s are very different to the ones that arrive now, there is no real need for them to assimilate in to British society, same with the asians, (not that there ever was any form of cohesion there!)...we have ghettos in the UK and its getting worse, the only problem is the more that come the more they spill out and start to ruin the nicer areas, "buy to let" properties are doing so much damage in nice residential areas....

Love / My Polish girlfriend checks my mobile phone all the time [70]

Why give some random person who you are flirting with your telephone number when you have a girlfriend - as Miss J pointed out, you probably encoraged it and were guilty as hell..dont put it on this other girl..its simple to say to someone "look, ive got a g/f and this is not appropriate"

phone list, not necessarily messages.

Its not really the phone list people are looking at though ;0) Besides its easy to put someone in under a different name..

reading someone's diary is a different story, it's a crime and i'd kill.

I just finished with him, it was an old diary, but it caused a row...He was a prick though, he used to stalk me when I went out with friends...very sad..I think this is why I wont put up with that kind of behaviour these days.

**Warning** Certain messages may be from the BNP's Cyberactivism team pretending to be ordinary people who find they are siding with the BNP.

More lefti propaganda, of course a person cant just hate the fact Britain has been swamped by immigrants, they must be nazis in the making! pathetic!

The truth of the matter is Jonni, people who were once very tolerent have really had enough and are sick to the back teeth with the policies this government have "bestowed" upon them, even Guardian readers (surprise surprise Jonni I dont real the Mail, I read the Guardian!) are sick of it...

As pointed out the only people that benefit from cheap labour as those that are using it..It does nothing for the British man on the street.

Love / My Polish girlfriend checks my mobile phone all the time [70]

i think it's something normal that people check parter's phone

My phone belongs to me, relationships are on a "need to know basis", my partner does not need to know the ins and outs of my friends private lives or anything other than what I chose to tell him. I had an I ex that read a diary of mine once, he became an ex very shortly after that, its the same difference.

if you get angry about this it means you have something to hide.

In his case he did, but I dont think that this is always the case, I was brought up to resect peoples privacy, pitty more people weren't

szwed, respect yr opinion. tell me what you think. is there not a cultural difference here? and you too, shelley.

I have a Polish friend he is ultra polite, he's been here for 5 years, he has also said he makes his little boy say please and thank you...He does however admit that he does this because its something natural for him to do these days, but not something that is prevalent in Poland.

If you read through some of the threads here there was one about how the English are too polite and that we say please and thank you too much, I come from a family where you had to be excused from the table, so manners are something that are engrained in me, as we say "manner cost nothing" or "manners maketh a man" It is a cultural difference, having said that if you go to a Poles house they we will show you pretty good hospitality, whereas you might go to an English persons house and be lucky to be offered a cup of tea :D Also, I sent a little gift over a friend who recently had a baby and I received a lovely lovely thank you message, so (I hate to say this) maybe your partner, as much as he is sexy and lovely, his manners leave a lot to be desired.

Honestly has "decreased" in Western Europe, also in the UK.

Hence the reason I wrote "were" - But cheating in exams isnt possible, there are invidulators that partrol the hall whilst pupils are taking exams, if a pupil is caught cheating, then they are removed and their exam papers are disqualified.

The respect for other people today is not even near what it was 50 years ago.

Respect today is no where near it was even 10 years ago...Morals and etiquette are no longer taught at home or at school, the outcome is, we have rude and selfish people who would see an old lady stand up on a bus when where are young men sat down.

Language / Polish language and Gaelic language. [5]

The Welsh have Welsh speaking chanels...its actually quite funny when you hear it...its all Welsh and a word like "supermarket" in English pops in :D I think the more foreigners flood your country, the more you want to preseve your heritage...So I see the Irish and Welsh doing more for future generations.

You also have to remember Del Boy that the Irish were punished (by death in most cases) for speaking Gaelic and were and still are an occupied country and if that isnt bad enough they have some lefti PC government in who doesnt seem to care about the rights of the Irish.

So it will be a long time before you hear Gaelic spoken as a common language on the streets of Ireland :(

but english ones will be much slower about it

Slier, not slower ;0)

Or most dont bother, if someone is that insecure, they shouldnt be in a relationship.

another example of poles having more energy than brits ; )

Or maybe just more respectful towards their partners?

And the traditional British model of decency DOES have honesty as one of its cornerstones.

Maybe because the punishments for telling lies and cheating "were" so severe, things have changed in British society.

Anyway, if this guy is so bothered, why doesnt he just speak to her? In fact he's a bit fooked as she probably has access to his computer and is reading this right now because his phone isnt the only thing she goes through :D

In any case, immigration brings many benefits.

You've been listening to politicans too much chickadee!

If Britian had closed its doors to immigrants many centuries ago

Its not about closing the doors, its about being more selective.

would not be British now.

What do you think we would be? Are you suggesting we'd all be German?

Love / Is it really possible for a Polish man to be just friends with a woman? [32]

I'll answer this question if they guy is gay then yes its possible, if not, NO - eventually he will try and get in your knickers if he doesnt it means he thinks you're ugly! Of course there are exception for men who are married or you have known most of your life, hence they are practically like a brother.

Food / Bad food experiences in Poland [30]

maybe you've got a noble taste :p

Hardly, the best gulash Ive ever had was at a bus station cafe in Pilzen in Cz Rep (possibly a few homeless people in there too, but it was clean)...The food in Sphinx was just bland and poor (I left most of mine) Id eaten in some nice places prevously to that in Wraclaw (Mr W where was that place me and Jo met you? the food was lovely in there) and found the food very tasty..The only reason we eat in there was because we couldnt get in anywhere else as it was lunch time and very busy...

What does that mean?

I think he means, over priced and substandard food, only tourists will pay....So not a tax as such, just a bit of a rip off...

Food / Bad food experiences in Poland [30]

I also heard few stories about kebab huts in Krakow and guys jerking off to the sauce, pretty gross..

:( I had one when I was in Krakow!

I honestly thought those crocket things you get with borsch were not to my liking, they had what could only be described as cat food in side....Other than that everything I eat was lovely, apart from one visit to a Sphinx restaurant in Warclaw and the food was substandard to say the least...first and last time eating in a chain restaurant in Poland. Oh I forgot, Im not keen the sausage either, but that could have been down the fact my mate kept saying "boy called it, boy called it" when I was eating it...You'd have to read the book to know what Im talking about....

bar mleczy/ jadłodalnia.. I know what you mean, but I have to say that some are not so bad, the food is cheap and usually pretty good, when I was studying it was a real value for money although on the other hand homeless people where dining there too ;D

Funny you say that, one of the guys from our Warsaw office said they are disgusting and mostly full of tramps and they're pretty dirty places and he wont eat in them...

Love / Do not marry Polish woman [212]

Its called wanting the best (for a family) and having a standard of living for you and your family and there is nothing wrong with that...the flip side of the coin is wanting to get your nails done every week and your hair done and spending obscene amounts if cash on clothes and "things" that make you feel good in the short term which is what some women are after.

Men do offer physical nurturing to their children, or at least they do in England....They cant breast feed this we know but most women dont bother with anyway.
