HELP!! Need some advice about Polish guy at work.

Hi everyone

I just ned some advice, i have met a Polish guy at work and we talk all the time. Everyday we meet for coffee on every break. I get the impression he likes me but he has not asked me out anywhere. I asked him if he goes out but he says he only ever has some drinks at home. I know he had a beautiful Polish GF but they have split up. I feel abit confused abt this. He even texts me all the time!! He is sooooooooooooo cute and nice!! Maybe he just wants to be friends!! But why spend so much time wit me and text me all the time. He lives with 4 other Polish guys, so he has never asked me to his house. He has ben in my house once, he helped me move in!!

that is with polish girls. but you are irish. so he isn't on such familiar territory (yet ; ). so he is hanging back a little. so you have to open the door and make it easy for him at least to get over the threshold.

to be fair, most polish guys have at some point a beautiful polish gf, as most polish girls are pretty well turned-out. but quite a lot again treat those same dolls without the respect they deserve. and there are polish guys who find that cultural difference (there i go on that again) with other girls - eg, irish, english - intriguing and seductive. they think they might want a woman who thinks differently. and they are game to try it. we, i guess, are exotic for them. cool. we just aren't quite so good at the washing up ; )

so: maybe - and you have to face this - he split up with her and is still in love with her, or still having sex with her, or still arguing with her. but possibly he split up with her and you are the new and exotic one. you won't really know until you ask him round and have that back massage. actually, you won't really know until a few months down the line whether you were real or a fantasy. tough, but true.

Ask him about Polish food/beer and see if he offers to take you out. If not, then don't pursue. If he likes you, he will show it then. If he doesn't, you guys are just friends. Maybe he's one of those European guys that only wants to date someone from their own country.

Yeah i think i will take your last advice. I was with one Polish guy before and he was much more straight forward. I am actually starting to think he wants to just be friends!! Well this wknd will show........wish me luck!!! Nervous!!!
