ask thousands or maybe even millions of Poles immigrating every year to another countries. I consider those actually as good people who realize what or who they're running from. I could imagine, one of the reasons at least for some people is having to deal with some smart mouth post communists like you sokrates. For most Poles people like you must be a disgrace for Poland. You stand for what many Poles were hoping to be a wiped out dark age in a Polish history but seeing that nothing has really changed, they prefer to look for a real freedom somewhere else.

do you mean after the WWII? Look PlasticPole, the town was practically German. The population (according to wiki. I know different numbers too) was 95.3% German and 3.28% Kashubians and Masurians, which to the high extent also claimed to be Germans.

Poland needed it to help their struggling economy.

Also to say that Danzig was built by the Poles. All it takes is to look at the list of the famous names in Danzigs history. The only one I found that sounds Polish is Daniel Chodowiecki but even he claimed to be both German and Polish. The rest of the architects came from Belgium, Holland and Germany.

UK, France and Germany got where they are because of the Marshalls Plan so its not like Western Europe is so developed on its merry own,

They were destroyed during the WWII and this is the only reason why they even needed help. Poland was destroyed too but even before WWII wasn't very developed to begin with. This is my point!!!

check it out before you make yourself look stupid. The name Gdansk was never mentioned in the past centuries, not even on Danzig coins from the Polish occupation period. It was Gedanensis.

Quite the opposite, the city was in Polish hands untill late 16th century, even though it was for a time under Teutonic rule the population and city goverment was Polish, the majority of Polish troops serving for the Teutonic order came from the region of Gdańsk :)))
