News / Sending money to Poland [32]

yeah thats right send all your british earned money back to poland ,hasnt anyone in poland got a back bone to stand up for workers rights in your own countries

Give it a rest. Changes can't be immediately implemented. So stay in Poland and make no money? Right..... Europe is open to whoever is in the EU for opportunity purposes.

Love / Online dating sites (opinions)? [26]

Pay? So, is this a dating service or buy a Polish wife service? Once you add the word "bride" to the equasion, you're basically making the impression that you automatically get a bride out of the deal. This may cause some problems. Tell your boss to stick with a "singles" dating site....like Match

Food / Poland's Summertime! Let's BBQ [79]

Unlike with the bbq, you can stay late into the night, warming up your hands and feet by the fire, playing the guitar and enjoying the atmosphere its light creates. I guess that's the most Polish thing of all.

Yes in the US it's also very popular. Except for the food. Hot dogs on sticks and the kids like to roast marshmallows.

Food / Poland's Summertime! Let's BBQ [79]

I was speaking of "traditional" camp fire food. It is the most popular meat to cook over camp fire.

Personally I think hot dogs are nasty too and would rather grill chicken or pork :)

American should be more creative with BBQ

Are you kidding??Americans are the BBQ masters!! :)

Love / Online dating sites (opinions)? [26]

What if you live in another country where there's no Polish community?

I hope that you're not referring to the US. We have many Polish communities.

but I tend to thing the elder guys are more to the point and know what they want.

And what about the women?

Love / american males are not as good as the polish ones [11]

There are plenty of PL women in the US. Coming to poland isn't as expensive as you think though...check out the exchange rates. I think more Americans should. It's a great place to vacation and the nightlife is great!

Love / Online dating sites (opinions)? [26]

No, I know there are lots of Polish communities in the US. Even so, I don't think men who don't speak Polish benefit from that...

But would have better chances with a native Pole not knowing the language?

I hear that they have these services with Philipino and russian women...selling them in catalogs. It's a pretty sleezy business in my eyes.

But I'm 1 opinion. There are probably many desperate men out there that would do this.

Much more beautiful! I don't think the younger generation is as religious as maybe their parents/grandparents. This is only speaking from my own observation. It may vary throughout Poland.

Food / Poland's Summertime! Let's BBQ [79]

Szaszlyk It's easy to make. If not...you can always make sausages :)

Burgers aren't popular in PL.

I've recently brought some good ole' american mesquite BBQ sauce to Poland. My GF's father said it was ok and he didn't like it that much.....as he cleaned off the bones and was licking his fingers :)

Later I was told it was one of the best BBQ flavors that he's ever tasted. Requesting more to be sent. Him and his friends all sat around eatin it yesterday. Maybe I'll have to export some.

Feedback / This is a great sight. [6]

Holender

Dutch is great! You have funny words....like handschoenen: gloves but in Dutch- hand shoes :) or Verrekijkers: Binoculars or Far lookers :)

Do you think it would be easier to learn Dutch or Polish?
