hahaha ok first of all there are alot of highschools in Chicago for the Polish community where the lessons are taught in Polish. I am talking about the city not suburbs. I have found quite a few, but you must know Polish to go because they speak Polish during school. I am asking if their are any schools like this where it isn't mandatory to be able to speak it. So yes there are many in Chicago city!!!

I know a little Polish and am learning but I need people to talk to and to be emmerced in the language.

Language / Not sure if I will be able to speak Polish [53]

I have been taking Polish lessons for months now. But I don't think what I am learning is sticking with me. I have no Polish people to talk to but I really want to be fluent in Polish. What do I do? How do I remember what I learn. Should I stop the lessons for now. And just study study study what I have been taught so far, until I am confident to move on, or is this bad and will I become lost.

Please help!!!

Are these the same in Poland if so what are some more, if not can you give me some

because when not in Poland like say you move to america. (they speak english there) so if your names Paweł they will be pronouncing it like it looks in english cause they dont know how unless you tell them. so they change it to make things easier. same with how you pronounce your last name like it looks in english

I think Poles are this way because of hitler and everything, because not only are they negative to other colors but other whites who are not polish. its not so much that they are racist but more they feel they need to stick together and everyone isnt important because they have to help eachother. also Polish people have A LOT of pride for their nationality, feeling like there better but not in a racist way. i know it is confusing

Any polish words like the american words dude, man(as in whats up man), fam(family) also if you dont know many americans use the controversial word "nigga" coming from "nigger" but is not meant racist at all but like the words I listed, but because it is so controversial considered a bad word by many.
