UK, Ireland / "Polish ambassador warns - think twice about coming to Britain for work " [126]

what is this additional experience ? i work for price waterhouse uk or price waterhouse pl ... surely they are the same.

geez Wroclaw I'm talking about life experience in general, not only professional. The experience of living in another country, another lifestyle, customs, way of doing things, having fun, eating, drinking, spending spare time, decorating houses etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

wyluzuj się...

i don't thing those who come back are superskilled

I did not mean that PL people coming back are more skilled.
On the other hand they have the right to come back regardless of the market - how would you feel if someone told you sorry you can't come back home because the market doesn't allow it????

It's still back to mediocre wages.

Thank you Seanus for the low estime of PL people.
That's what all the westerns think - back to mediocre wages.
The CEO of my company said that they chose PL because it has a population of 40 mln people, easy access to skilled, well educated labour (45% of Poles between 20 and 25 years study).

The wages were just one of the factors...

Love / Broken Heart, An amazing girl from Poland [139]

Change your photo / picture Nika (!!). I always notice this for wrong reason. ( a sad looking lady with a tear running down right hand side of face).

is this an order?

I will leave it as it is because I like it. I find it beautiful rather than sad and that's also why I chose it.

After all it's just an avatar - get used to it/ignore it, I don't know what's your problem...

No such thing as true love.

there are those who believe and those who don't.
But the world of those who do is so much more beautiful!

Love / Broken Heart, An amazing girl from Poland [139]

It works in hollywood, not in real life. Maybe yester year, but definitely not in this modern age.

if that's what you think then that's fine. We don't have to all agree with each other. I actually know VERY, VERY happy and successful, modern couples - sorry for you if you don't.

Guys have mercy!!! you talk as if you were some kind of perfect angels caught in the clows of devil women (oh yeah I forgot to add- devil PL women).

I don't know any more how many times I've seen you pity yourselves on this forum. I actually find it funny. Anyway I'm in an excellent mood today so I couldn't possibly get angry over such rubbish even if I wanted to.

Every relationship carries a risk of failure. Anyway, whatever you may say or think, there is a lot of mixed couples that know how to make it work and I know I've already said that but God bless mixed couples!

Hell no, where did i say we're any better?

well you were talking about women (sorry forgot again - PL women) making up stories to feel less quilty about shagging a foreigner and then they leave the said poor foreigner to go back to their bf. It kind of makes you, foreign man a victime and us women (sorry - PL women) a predator.

so have pity, pitié, litości and stop that please, please, please!!!!!!!!!

But since the guy apparently dealt with a girl we're talking about females

I wasn't talking about motoman because I truly feel sorry for him. I was talking about some members of PF...

Work / Working in Poland as foreigner [6]

I can only tell about Krakow.
Krakow Business Park is where some foreign companies are based and you don't have to speak Polish to work for them, as they are all english speaking.

Check the below link to see what are the companies concerned and then find their websites with career opportunities:
skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=379836

UBS are based in Krakow Business Park as well and are (or will be) seeking to hire about 50 people by Jan 2010:

And State Street Krakow:

Hope this helps Guys - good luck!!!!

Love / Broken Heart, An amazing girl from Poland [139]

The fact is that most Polish women who betray their partners have such modus operandi, find a foreigner they like, sell him a story about a collapsing relationship that makes him hopefull and her less guilty and roll with it.

I'm not saying that it's not true - it sure is and I'm sorry for you poor, British, Irish, Scottish Honeys!!!!

I was just asking politely that you have pity/pitié/litość and stop telling the same story over and over again. Besides, I am sure that you are no saints either!

MareGaea:
I was just observing and it's true, if they would have handsome boyfriends, I would have said so too, but they all looked like neanderthalers.

i'll second that.. i've seen it way too many times myself. :D

how can you say that Guys???!!! How would you feel if someone talked like that about your girlfriend/wife (if you have any, first of all).

so you think that pretty girls should go out only with handsome men??? hell no!!!!!

Nika (from Dominika?) is, judging by her avatar, crying all the time.

Very missed judgment - appearances are deceptive.
It's just an avatar and is not reflecting my state of mind at all. I simply find it very pretty.

I didn't even read through the rest of your 100 pages post starting with some useless statistics.

Work / Is 8000zl Brutto per Month a good salary in Wroclaw??? [39]

yes, it is good salary anywhere in PL.
Now your savings would depend on your life style: your rent (an appartment on your own or shared with someone), how much you spend on going out, shopping etc. but with 8000 gros per month you will be able to put money aside, that's for sure.

Love / Why do Polish Women Think They Know Better? [134]

Like someone said in this thread, when Polish men are off the leash they go wild, having affairs and drinking to excess. I've just seen this first hand, and it seems to be true.

they should be thankful that we do let them off the leash from time to time.
Aren't we just sweet??????? ;)

Life / Social networking sites used by teens in Poland? [13]

you forgot to add Polish people, because all the others are nice and friendly.
But the PL ones are so mean, ufriendly and unkind that there is a separate internet for them - The Polish Internet.

Law / What is a NIP? [8]

NIP is a PL tax identification number.
They shouldn't be asking for your NIP if you want to buy something as a private person. Now, I believe they could ask for it if you were buying on behalf of a company or asked for an invoice for a company.

hope this helps.

UK, Ireland / Legally changing my Polish name [28]

You're studing in the UK do you think you are the first person with a long foreign name? Do you think they all changed their names? NOPE...get over yaself...

totally agree.
People, stop thinking that if your life somewhere is tough it's because you're PL, you have PL name, you studied in PL.
Never ever in my life would I change my PL name & surname - love it just the way it is - it would be like denying everything that I am...

Life / How many people really know English in Poland? [53]

i mean most of them..soon i'll be sent to work to Poland for several months and i wonder if it's possible to survive there without being able to speak Polish.

sure it's possible to survive without speaking PL. Now it will be more difficult for you to make friends and in general to get around than if you did speak PL but Krakow is tourist-oriented city so you shouldn't have major issues...

There are some expats from K-kow who post on this forum so you can always come back and ask for an advice in case you do have a problem.

Are you French?

Moaner. ;)
