Well...they had subscribed to the Volksliste I, so they saw themselves as full Germans. Nothing automatically about it...

I'm pretty sure that on the lands which were part of Germany before WWI it was automatic process, exempt those actively involved into institutions of independent Polish state.

There were some Germans, no doubt but you are trying to impose your false view that most of the Poles serving in German army were of German origin or were volunteers.

When in fact most of them were conscript who were forced to be a part of German army and more often then not their family were hostage.

Germans were conscripted into the Wehrmacht

Not only Germans ....also those who were seen as a Germans by the German state, for example if someone was born in 1917 in Poznan he was citizen of the German state (doesn't matter nomenclature) as such he after 1939 was automatically counted as German citizen and conscription followed more often then not.

Roughly the same happened to children born to parents who were one time citizen of German state before WWI.
So, people were Poles, no doubt about it but were threated by German state as Germans.

Sure, but never could be bothered to memorize this bureaucratic BS, I know that as long as Germans needed recruits they weren't too particular about way to get it!

Poland however had a huge army and huge military budget at that time! Though their weapons were old and their military infrastructure ancient.

Hmm I dont think we left England by the millions though...a few thousand maybe...but nice try :)

Sweet pie, from 120 to 360 thousands British emigrate every year mainly to Australia, New Zealand and Canada, but also to Spain and other European country's( and USA - many illegals).

I understand that influx of Poles into Britain in relatively short span of time is still quite a shock but some balance is needed ..... sometimes .....

After Poles rejected his proposal - of become ally, and corridor compensated by Odessa and attack on Soviets - were the price!
Hitler wanted sort out first France (supported by Britain).
French and British guarantees had the effect that Poland become first meal on Hitlers menu!
French and British had no intension of military support Poland, they sacrificed Poland to buy for themselves one year for preparation to war.
It was cold blooded treason, but I don't blame British , I blame Polish government because they should foreseen it,(even if they knew what honor means).

He wanted to almost fuse Lithuania with Poland, Ironside. That's what I meant.

He wanted to build federation included such nations as Ukrainians, Georgians and Armenians, as for Lithuania he didn't proposed fuse but Lithuania with Wilno as a capital and divided into three cantons with different languages.

It was better deal for Lithuania then anything else (he was Lithuanian himself), without independent Poland is very unlikely that independent Lithuania would existed.

Dmowski on the other hand wanted as much land as would be possible to assimilate various nationalities and ethnicity's.

I would say that Poland should be quite content with its current borders.

They don't even care ......Lwów major Polish city survived the war almost intact to crumble in the hand of Ukrainians.

You are not barred from visiting Ukraine, you know? ;) ;)
