The Airbus 320 uses V2500 Engines they are very reliable with a good record . I work for a Jet engine manufacture and one of the FAA requirements is to test the engines for bird strikes / yes birds can do allot of damage ! but the two engine planes are designed to fly on one engine incase one fails , then the pilot will proceed to the nearest airport for landing , however in this case it appears that he hit a flock of birds and both engines lost power ! This is rare but Murphy's law always shows us ! No one was hurt so this is a lot better than the tragedy it could have been .

My bike is a Superglide and I get about 38 mile per us gallon at turnpike speeds because that is what I travel most, my car gets 18 miles per gallon average. but now electric and hybrid car are getting allot of interest , also the goverment will be pushing them , so in the nexst 5 years we will see a big switch .

Thanks was just wondering , I live in Florida U.S. and super is about $2.00 us dollars per gallon ............but I drive 100 mile per day so I use a good amount of fuel *

yes I ride in the winter ,I use electric liners and electric gloves , sort of like riding in a car very warm .I just came back from Las Vegas they have a great Harley dealer , great rides to thier state parks also Hover Dam etc .
