Real Estate / Foreigners: Please don't buy Polish Land! [823]

Hello. I am English and from England I actually find alot of these comments quite insulting.

You say that English people buy up all of your land but infact its mostly the Americans, Canadians and the Irish.

Actual English is but a small minority.

Also you have to look at something else, how many of these English companies give the Polish jobs and how many Polish people are in England?

There was a survey done throughout the UK and it actually turns out that over 20% of the UK is populated by Polish people.

Also the fact that these people are buying this land, actually increases Polish economy hence in the near future Polish salaries and job availability will increase.

But everyone is entitled to there own points of view.

Work / Interview at a Callan School [204]

Ok here are my thoughts, I think the reason for you only getting 25 pln an hour is
because firstly you may not be a native speaker which is silly because your doing exactly
the same job as the natives and the company also gets paid the same from there clients/students for a 50 min slot, and the reason they pay the natives more is not neccessarily because they are native but because if times are slow they give more lessons to the Polish English speakers and less to the English Natives because they are making more for every lesson.

I guess at the end of the day in the eyes of the owners its all just common maths.

I plan to open a Callan school very soon, but I also plan to pay my Polish English Speakers and English Natives the same rate because unlike most of these schools I do

not believe in exploiting the Polish because to be fare so long as they are trained correctly in callan and pronouciation I honesestly believe a Polish person could be just as good if not better in the classroom especially when it comes to stage 1 and 2.

Law / A FREE PIECE OF ADVICE, look into recruitment companies in Poland [12]

Well you have some good points....

But its only an idea I didn't tell you that you definately have to get all your money and put it strait into recruitment but I personally think that it could be a good area to explore.

And also you seem to be missing one key aspect, what about the British people that come to Poland, I think this would be a good area to look into because its not like English only speakers can go into an office and start a conversation asking for a job, Is it!!!

And you also have to look at something else, look how many recruitment companies are in the UK and almost all of them do pretty well I mean look at the companies like GOLD personal and Plum which are both quite small but still they control a big chunk of the market.

Law / A FREE PIECE OF ADVICE, look into recruitment companies in Poland [12]

Ok,

If everyone thought this way, nobody would ever start up a business and nobody would ever make any money.

Recruitment is a good area to look into, I mean companies like Adecco etc are in Poland yes but still recruitment is a fairly new industry in Poland, if you have a decent website built and a good SEO company put you onto the front page of google etc, you will soon get the business flowing and also if you open an office in a good location where you are surrounded by business's your telling me that they would not be curious on how much you charge and the quality of staff you produce.

Well yeah it might take about 6 months to get recognised but if you give companies good staff and good rates then you will find that business's will come to you.

I understand that people see the big player and think they do not have a chance but then again even the big players had to start somewhere and also the big players do not always produce quality they are more interested in the quantity factor.

Law / A FREE PIECE OF ADVICE, look into recruitment companies in Poland [12]

After some thought I think that if people are wanting to start up a business in Poland they should look into recruitment because its an open market and there really are not that many recruitment companies in Poland.

So there is still an oppertunity to make some good money.

Just a piece of advice.....

Law / Setting up İMPORT Company in Poland. Is 80,000 zl enough? [7]

If you want sex toys and other things which can give you a bit of a tingle
I can get hold of these things at a very good price.

Also I have soul rights for Poland on a range of erotic drinks which could take off here
I think because they contain a natural afradesiac and also they have pictures on the bottle of naked ladies.

Hello Delphiandomine,

Well its the case that I have been so concentrated on getting everything in terms of products, equipment, insurances and a whole list of other things that I have only just got around to all of the legalaties.

I have done a lot of research and I now know what has to be obtained and from where I need to obtain these vital things.

But thankyou for all of your advice it was very helpfull.

Law / HOW DO I REGISTER MY BUSINESS NAME IN POLAND? [17]

Maybe I can get a dzialnosc and while I am setting it all up I can apply for the SP ZOO which will enable expansion what do you think?

Also I asked a friend of mine and he said it might be best to just register the business name which will give me a tax number etc and then this will enable me to open a business account also, im still unsure whats best.

Real Estate / mortgages advice - buying an apartment in Warsaw [15]

Hello its Chris hear,

Firstly yes sometimes some banks do ask for a residence card and alot of banks also
require you to be registered on a seperate property in Poland because it gives the bank more of a sence of security.

I do work with 3 banks that dont ask for these documents.

If you contact me, I can give you further details of rates and repayments.

Sincerely

Christopher Bradbury

Law / Poles don't like to use credit cards when buying online? [10]

Maybe its a case that Polish people are actually very intelligent thats why many of them dont use credit cards, I mean look how many people are in debt because they spend and spend and spend on there plastic.

To be fare if somebody were not to send the product after its been paid for, it would most probley still be cheaper than the annual rates on these cards.

Law / "Texas style" steakhouse in Poznan. Worthy investment? [35]

First of all why do people even ask questions on this forum because all they get
is mostly stupid answers, And you say McDonalds is so shit but every single McDonalds Restaurant in Poland has more than half a million customers a year so maybe do the maths.

Also I think this also eliminates another comment about Polish people not likeing to eat out because almost every Polish person I know in Warsaw eats out at least twice a week and thats almost the same as the UK.

Listen what you need to do is stand outside various locations that you feel would be good for this kind of restaurant and count how many people walk past in a 10 minute slot the divide this by 12 and this is pretty much your customer base.

I personally think that a steak house would do well in Warsaw especially because people here have alot of money and also there are alot of British, American, Irish , Australia etc here and they all love steak and I think that given half the change Polish would also like it.

And regarding beef Europe is quite a big place and Netherlands, Britain and Austria have some of the best beef you can buy also alot of the british shop import from Australia and new zealand maybe you could even import from the states.

Anyway just thought I would give you at least one sensible answer.
