Taxi's from airport's usually are a rip-off , i always try and catch the bus into the centre and work out the way to where i'm staying from there . Did you get your hotel to book the return journey ? That work's well cheaper , you could also ask the hotel to book one to pick you up at the airport for you , if they do this service ?

Wizzair do'nt fly to Cracow , you fly to Katowice airport then catch a bus there onto Cracow . A couple on my last flight to Kato thought they were flying direct to Cracow where friends were waiting for them .

Yeah Czech and Belgian beer's i find the best , Pilsner urquell , Staro , Leffe blonde , there's a pub in Oostende has about 100 different light and dark beers available for the conossiuer . I do like the polish beer too mainly with a zoladkowa gorzka ? chaser . I do'nt know how to pronounce it i just point lol .

They'll soon warm to you i'm sure, alot of countries folk get tarred with the same brush just prove them wrong . I must admit i noticed a difference in attitudes from when i go on my own to when i'm there with group of males then they become wary but once they realise we're there just for a goodtime and not to fight/abuse/get naked ( in public ) as alot do they're very welcoming . Treat people how you expect to be treated no matter where you are , it works wonders .

Yeah i usually create an album of trip's away . It's nice for seeing pic's of friend's who are further afield and keeping up with event's :-)

Nightlifes ok not as lively as Krakow , Wroclaw etc but it's a smaller city . Bars and clubs are quite spread about and not many there's Klub Klimate in the shopping arcade the magnum pub has a club too the street opposite the Sphinx Restaurant has few music bar's down it . The City pub at the bottom of the steps from hotel president . Some bar next to Kfc , Club Tlen if it's still open for drum and bass and the Vagina cafe lol

I must agree Katowice does seem moody . I fly in to there but never hang around , 1st slow sweatbox of a train to Bielsko then it's like your in a different country . Though i do like reading all the graffiti as you leave Katowice and go past Tychy?

Stopped off there a few weeks ago not a pretty city but seemed ok . I ended up in Bielsko much more to my liking mountains etc . Got drunk with some poles i'd met in a bar missed my flight so stayed for the week :-)

Women are women where ever you go i find and everyone has different tastes but i wouldn't say one particular group is superior . The influx of young polish girls to the UK has been a welcome sight though and as with anything new get alot of attention . But can you trust anything that bleeds for a week and doesn't die ? (joke)
