Love / Polish guy broke this black womans heart, now he wants me back....what do I do?? [27]

From the information that you have provided, you have made the right decision. I appreciate that it is very difficult (near impossible at times) to be objective with affairs of the heart. Take a long hard look at the catalogue of issues you have raised, they are certainly not building blocks for a relationship. You were obviously good for him in many respects, economically more than anything else. It is evident that he does not have a better offer, as if he did, you would be history, or he could just be greedy and try to bleed you some more.

The truth is painful to face, and I am sure you will find a dozen reasons for each one you have received why you should probably give him yet another chance. What you need is to distance yourself from this man; you need time to think clearly. You will not be able to do this if you maintain contact; your emotions are just too sensitive right now, making it difficult for you to think objectively.

I am one hundred percent sure that you would like a man who treats you with respect, acts as an equal, demonstrates his loyalty, honesty, trustworthiness……the list could go on!

You know what to do………life is really too short to waste on people who are not worth while……….think about it, 2, 3, 5, 10 years down the line, what would it be like? The same stop start………there are loads of men our there, and I do know that it is not easy to find the right fit, however, the choice is firmly in your hands as to what you accept, and ultimately end up with.

Best of luck

Love / Should I Be Nervous About Going to Poland? Black female dating a Pole. [158]

PurpleLeo,

I would just like to echo the sentiments of some of the people here……

Have a great time, approach everything with an open mind, just be yourself, you come across as an amiably, intelligent, and open minded individual.

I too will visit Poland in the coming weeks, in actual fact I will visit twice this year! I have made the acquaintance of some really fabulous Poles in Poland, and here in the UK too. Unlike you, I will travel alone; however, just like you, I was apprehensive about my visit. I suppose, after reading a lot of negative views about black people in Poland, inevitably tainted my expectations.

I have since put everything into perspective, I will go to Poland, have a great time. I have travelled to various different countries, my experiences there have not always been positive, but that is life, anything is possible. I did not let a few bad experiences spoil my overall enjoyment, and perception of these places.

To reiterate, have a great time!

News / Poland's Future Includes Fewer Poles, More Foreigners [324]

ShelleyS

He's a nutter.

ShelleyS you know what I think that I am going to cut this one short and refrain from commenting on this thread, as it is getting a bit out of hand, as I have no beef with Warsaw8 or anyone for that matter. I think that I will steer clear of getting into something with Sobottka which is so unnecessary.

I really don’t care who hates who, as people will hate each other for a variety of reasons. As for Sobottka being a nutter, well….I will reserve judgement on that one…

We all have our opinions and my point is, cool that’s each individual’s prerogative.

Sobottka…..Warsaw8 never said that he hated 'me' - however as he seems to hate all people of colour of which I am one, obviously I am included in the equation. My comments to him were meant as a general statement.

If someone hates me because I am black, really I don't give a damn, why should I? I am certainly not going to get angry, to do that would demonstrate that a nerve had been hit...no chance of that happening!

Catch you soon…I’m off……

Equator, there is no chance for true peace in this world as long as there is only one human being frustrated. We Anarchists are fighting for the sake of all people because there is no chance to fight for the sake of some people only. Don't You want to be an Anarchist, too, Equator? We Anarchists don't look at the colour of human beings, we look only into their hearts!

Never really thought about being an Anarchist……..

You know something Warsaw8, we all have an opinion about things and if you hate people like me, so be it, I can’t change that. I respect your views although I don’t agree with them and it doesn’t seem like they are going to change any day soon.

I really don’t have space in my head to hate and despise a group of people……anyway happy forum posting!

Highly agreed, was going to say the same but you beat me to it. Since Equator is black its no suprize what she said. "They all say that", even on here......We as whites dont FLOOD their countries....I wonder why?

I am sure that you are aware of British history and colonialism....if so then you MUST understand why I am in England....born and bred may I add....

Bratwurst Boy

Learning other cultures doesn't equates to appreciating them (Turks in Berlin for example)
And nobody should be forced to "learn" them...

All I meant was that if someone understands another’s culture then there may be less of an aversion towards it......I try to understand other peoples culture but it doesn't mean that I agree with everything that they do and believe in, but that's not for me to worry about too much, I’ve got my life to live!

I think that diversity can be a good thing…I personally would hate to live somewhere where everyone and everything was the same in terms of looks, language, cultural beliefs, cuisine and so on. A melting pot makes for an interesting community.

It does go wrong and resentment from the locals will set in when people choose to segregate themselves and do their up most to ostracise themselves from the local culture.

Intolerance is born out of ignorance…..it is so easy to go with the flow and hate people of difference races but it takes effort, patience, open mindedness to learn to understand and appreciate…..

Love / What do Polish women look for in men? [53]

I got ya Sophia.....no size isn't the most important thing and you are right with great positioning and correct clit stimulation its all over (well not too soon hopefully).......I suppose all I was saying was that it's a bonus, for me at least!

Sophia:

Well, I like great sense of humour, something nice about the face (like great eyes or summot alike), confidence but not arrogance (well, sometimes arrogance is amusing), understanding and not selfish. Consistency with mood is a bonus. Ok so the list could last forever really.

I'm with you on this one, you're right the list could go on and on and on......I will say though that I love men who are sweet and kind natured......oh and a decent size tool helps.......well a girl's gotta live!

Love / Polish women are known for their beauty, but men are so ugly (most of).. [250]

polishgirltx

weird...it seems to be their favorite word...

I certainly don't want to hear it too often, but I've never heard it...I learnt the K word from my friend who reckons I say it quite well.......nothing to be proud of I know....

By the way I asked him for the Polish translation......of the English F and B word....out of curiosity you understand.

Life / First Racial Attack for me in Poland [158]

tornado:

i think you should count yourself lucky though considering in certain parts of Kingston, Jamaica you potentially are shot for being white by the local hoolies :).

I'm black and they could shoot me for a whole variety of reasons, where did you get that snippet of info from?

Down Town Kingston can be rough for everyone, just like you I would stick out, my skin colour would not camouflage me enough, they know instantly that I am from Britain! Plus I really think that colour on its own would not be the seminal factor for an attack…..

To be honest in Polska you are much more likely to be killed whilst driving than stabbed or beaten to death on the street.

Glad to hear it! I hope to travel to Poland soon...............

Life / I AM BLACK. SHOULD I MOVE TO POLAND? [107]

krysia

They have the right not to like whomever they wish.
It's their country.

Yes you are right it is an individual’s choice to like or dislike whom they choose, if you happen to be on the receiving end of this dislike, unfortunately that’s life (I’m not talking about someone trying to beat the hell out of another person because they are the wrong colour or anything), as we all know racism exists everywhere.

My point is surely NOT EVERY Polish resident is racist, impossible! It just cannot be so….Yes some will be and yes they may stare, but amongst all of that you will find kind, open minded, loving, caring decent people.

Primo I have never been to Poland and I hope to go soon, I will go with an open mind, I have taken on board all of the comments from other members of the forum, some negative and some positive all of which are valid may I add. So I think that you should do they same, lets not be naïve here we know that Poland is not a racially diverse country and with that may bring a certain level of aversion to foreign faces.

Chill have a trial run and see………..

UK, Ireland / Cold and ignorant Polish girls living in the UK [128]

coldpole

all i can add is yes the polish girls are nice too look at but nothing else its like they are all cloned the same in dress and manner

...Wow! Is that really so, I think not! Where has all this bitterness come from? I'm not an expert on human behaviour or that of a single nation of people for that matter, but my guess is that these girls are all individuals with individual personalities.

I have a really great Polish friend, he is the only Polish person that I am acquainted with, and I know that not all Polish guys are like him. The thing is we get on and click as mates...simple....

Maybe you're just trying too hard to accomplish something...relax, clear your mind and give people a chance....you may just get what you have been yearning for! LOL

Cardno85

So what I am saying really is, if you want to move to Poland with your fiancé then do it. Don't seek the approval of others. If you want a good true answer to this then ask her if she wants you to come with her...and go with that one, not a bunch of strangers.

I agree totally!!!!!!

Love / Polish women are known for their beauty, but men are so ugly (most of).. [250]

……Beauty what a subjective topic, or is it? Well, if one particular look is positively reinforced, e.g., through advertising then maybe we will have a predisposition towards it. Polish girls are the buzz at the minute, not necessarily in the media so much but on the streets, this forum is filled with comments regarding their beauty. But the poor Polish man seems to have been somewhat overshadowed by his female counterpart.

I personally have seen some very attractive Polish girls, but then us women tend to spend more on our appearance than men….we dye our hair, wear makeup, paint our nails and so on, these things will inevitably make us appear more attractive…..what I am trying to say is that most of the Polish guys that I see are not as groomed as the Polish women (remember this is in my experience), however, I have seen some very attractive Polish men myself with beautiful blue eyes that have got me wishing and hoping!

Life / I AM BLACK. SHOULD I MOVE TO POLAND? [107]

Hi Primo,

I would like to say first of all that I like Blingin am a little disappointed with the picture that you have painted of black people. Yes me too as I am black British of Jamaican parentage, so I was a wee bit offended.

Black people have it hard enough, with the media paining such a negative picture of us. I am university educated so are many of my black friends, we work hard have dreams and aspirations like everyone else and we are working towards our goals. All the traits negative and positive know to mankind can be found in all cultures and nationalities, I am sure that you are intelligent enough to be aware of this……think I will leave things there for now.

On a positive note I think that you should go Poland with an open mind, racism is everywhere, even here in the UK maybe not as pronounced as other countries, but it IS here. Whether individuals like it or not people will always migrate and travel, which is a fantastic thing and an education in itself.

I am hoping to travel to Krakow soon and alone, I am aware that some people will stare at me, as I am not a common site. I may even encounter racism, as long as no one tries to kill me because I’m black that’s cool………..

Be brave, you have the love of a good woman and with that you can climb mountains, however, we all know that everywhere you go life is the same with ups and downs negative and positive experiences…..

Take care!
