Yes,because some people accuse the Soviet Union because it did not declare war to Germany between 1939-1941 in order to prepare properly for the war.Churchill himself called the soviet tactique cunning and efficient.The Molotov-Ribbentropp pact was maybe a cold treaty about which many complained but it helped the red army enormously.Churchill admited it openly and gave right to Russians for signing it although it was against the interests of Great Britain by the time it was signed.

Eastern front:3,5 million German soldiers with 8000 tanks against 6 million Soviets with 14000 tanks.
Italy front:200000 Germans with 500 tanks against 500000 Angloamericans with 1500 tanks.
Western front:600000 Germans with 1500 tanks against 1.2 million Angloamericans with 4000 tanks.

There is no comparison between eastern and western front.Had the Germans the opportunity to remove from the eastern front just 30% of their forces there,that is 1 million men and 2500 tanks to the Western front,the allied forces would have had simply no chance against them.They would have been kicked to the sea.

Actually they helped Stalin only in the western side.In the japanese front,Soviet Union and USA were not allies!This was the agreement.

Actually these ''Osttruppen'' of Wehrmacht were the worst divisions of the german army ever.They surrendered in masses to Anglosaxons in Normandy and showed no serious desire to fight.(opposite to norwegian,swedish and belgian SS who were first class fighters).
