Assualt is assualt. If you done the same you would be locked up, and quite rightfully so. I was at a weeding 18 months ago and got drunk with some old mates, my missus at the time got pissed off as she couldnt find me and I thought I was up to no good. When she found me, she slapped me across the face and dragged me upstairs. She banged my head off the wall a few times on the way. Id a busted up nose and a few scars. The next morning half the wedding party banged down the door to laugh at my war wounds. If it was the other way around, I would be doing porridge.
Everyone has their tipping points, key is to know when to back away from argument before you get to yours.

I have a great long term/ short term memory, thanks for asking. The landlords where probably right when they put up them signs back in the day. The Irish who arrived were poor, destitute, and dirty. Paddy also had a dangerous past time, bombing the fook out of the place.

"Arpita Dutt, a discrimination lawyer at solicitors Russell Jones and Walker, told the BBC: "What they should be saying is, 'I can't do this, I can't act on those instructions. I can get you the best tenant for your property and try to meet those needs. But if I did it in the way you are asking me to do it, then that's against the law'."
Why are the BBC actively searching for evidence of "racism"? Landlords own the property, they should be allowed rent to whoever they want, or, in this case, dont want.

That is not actually an Irish dish, it is an Irish American dish. Corned beef is British, but as the immigrants from Ireland had little money, they bought the cheapest meet available, corned beef. :) I tried Jelly Eels this afternoon for the first time ever. Its a small cafe operated by a British dude just off Temple Bar. Surprisinly tasty. Anyone got a recipe?
