Life / Polish escort services - legal in Poland? [98]

i have a question...has anyone reading this had experience with a escort/prostitute?

im not sure there would be many who would be brave enough to admit it.. even on an anonymous forum. Personally I dont think there are many men who havent dabbled at some point in their lives, or at the very least thought about it..especially those travelling to places like Amsterdam and Thailand.

Ive seen girls of as young as 10 - 14 with fat ugly old white men in places such as Cambodia, Vietman and parts of Africa..its pretty grim.

Food / Polish food is making me fat [49]

you can easily make a vegan version and its not typical to put bacon or egg in it. Any left over veg like carrots, sprouts and typically cabbage and potatoes fried in vegan oil

i might not be right so if anyone knows different then correct me, but if you get married in a catholic church its your duty to concieve children and if your partner has hidden the fact that they cant concieve, you can easily get the marriage annulled.

Wow! thats disgusting. I hope people dont really do that.

Gays can;t get married,

Actually, yes they can these days.

Food / Good Polish Wines [74]

could it be something to do with the climate that means Poland is not a great wine producer? or is that

should I shut up now

probably best since you are a northerner. Robbie Williams is from Stoke isnt he. And the correct terminology for a person orginating from Birmingham is Brummie, not Brummy. I happen to be a yam yam, but I guess that means nothing to non-midlander...anyway what the &^%$, I dont really care.. its friday night.. wey hey.. lets all stop wasting time talking crap on PF and get out and have some fun.

Its a subtle difference isnt it. I'm not strictly a Brummie either, but who the hell knows where the Black country is, apart from those of us fortunate enough to have been born and bred there. The West Midlands is the true midlands, the other areas are mere pretenders with less salubrious accents. Apparantly there is a Midlands in Ireland too..so we could all shake off our accents and pretend to be Paddies instead

I hate to throw a spanner into this interesting discussion, but has anyone noticed that this is going way off thread.. unless the OP is interested in buying an army barracks in NI that is...other than that do carry on, Im enjoying the entertainment.

Life / I feel the gay rights movement is constrained Poland [90]

Because of the openess and tolerance of gays in London and the fact that I have more than a few gay friends, my partner believes that 95% of British men must be gay. I have told him its more like 85%, but he wont have it :)

I'm from the midlands and live in London. Brum is a dive full of ugly buildings, people and accents.

maybe thats just your extended family and their houses then? If you are from there, why are you slating the beautiful accent?

I live in Kirkham as I keep saying...

but thats precisely the problem.. I have never heard of it! I have been to both Blackpool and Preston and actually they arent bad.. I have no problem with small towns, although I dont think they are the idyllic retreats that you portray. Generally I have seen more crime in small places than in big cities, because the youths have nothing to do but turn to alcohol, drugs and crime. Anyway to say that Kirkham is better than London or Birmingham is just nonsense in my opinion... If Kirkham is so fantastic and the women are so great what the hell are you doing on an international forum.. by rights you shouldnt even know where Poland is, let alone be interested in it.. unless you've got Polish totty in your town, which I imagine is the case.

and you live where exactly?? somewhere near Blackpool isnt it.. which is not exactly centre of the universe is it. Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine... now get back to your working mens club.

Actually I was born in West Bromwich and I have lived in London for 20 years and never been robbed.. ever!

excuse me but neither Birmingham nor London are '*********', they are Englands two biggest and finest cities. Its all a matter of opinion, but some of the provincial places mentioned on this thread are the pits imo. Those people who hate Birmingham have either never spent much time there or dont understand the accent... so sod off the lot of you.

Travel / Central Wings cancel certain flights to Poland [38]

as i flew to Wroclaw in february with wizzair and landed 25 mins ahead of landing time and coming home i arrived 10mins ahead of schedule

well it is almost as bad to arrive early as it is late, especially if you have people meeting you. Better that they try to stick to the scheduled time.

but you not from africa and u dont know the history or way of thinking so dont be like all these overseas idiots that go to africa and think they can change it cause u cant !!

how do you know where I am from? I have probably travelled to more African countries than you have and have spent 10 years working there on all kinds of development and humanitarian aid projects including HIV/AIDS interventions with UNAIDs, so actually I do know what Im talking about. If your comment is serious then you should be ashamed, maybe you should take up politics.. you would fit right in.

News / Poland aids the world [37]

doesnt change anything in these places though, civil war still continues!

sorry but thats a rather ignorant generalised viewpoint. As an aid/development worker I have seen many lives changed beyond belief by relatively small amounts of money. Of course there are good and bad interventions, but please dont discount all development work other than campaigning as bad. Fairtrade is great, but there is also a need for plenty of other interventions.. and yes I guess its a pretty new concept for Poland, but I am glad that at least one person wants to share it on here.

Law / I HAVE A RESIDENCE CARD ( KARTA POBYTU ) CAN GET THROUGH CUSTOMS ? [21]

you need a passport to get into the UK. You may be a resident in a EU country, but you are not a national so why should you be able to enter another EU country without a passport? Anyway in Britain you still need to show a passport.
