News / Poland's Growth Fastest in 10 Years [95]

a high % in all of the cases ,Size of land and Population so Poland should be doing better

Why should be doing better... ? In countries like Estonia you can bring 3 foreign factories and the whole country is running on It, you can't do It here... Besides we've got over 7% growth and that Estonia has 10% ? Good for them...

becouse of the people here leave to go somewhere else to make a buck more

In many other countries in the region a bigger share of people work in the west but It's not noticed so much, because even If half of for exampel Latvians left, that still not so many of them.

all ther major supermakets are hiring for the past 4 monthes from Tescos to Carefour and they can not find workers same for the fast food chains !!!!

And what's wrong with that ? It's a good sign. They will have to pay better or bring people from poorer countries like It happens in almost every developed country.

as they said Poland is not a east european Country is central bla bla bla what it is really is a Poor country that has low wages and that high skills people leave to wash dishes and make up bes in the uk that

Don't like It ? So f. out.

yes Czech is moving west

Better educate yourself... Czech is not really moving very much, but they are simply historically better developed...

Work / University professor salary in Poland? [16]

3/4k zł

I don't know. Even If so, then there are many opportunities to make extra cash, so he should easily make much more... there are native English speakers in Poland, who make not bad money teaching English without any qualifications to do that.

News / Polish-German Relations in the Present [697]

God....you are so strange and so not european

We are European. You are pink tree hugging clowns with pathological inferiority complex... but what else could be expected from your tribe...

from Radio Maria

And here is the difference between us :) I can't even "fight back" because I simply don't give a damn about german things and would never join a german forum as this would be rather... well... disgusting... God, you're so... low...

Life / Jaywalking in Poland ? [38]

It's about 200zl fine if you get it wrong.

It can be even 500 PLN and that's almost 1/4 of average salary... but outside of city centers or in smaller towns people usually don't give a damn anyway.

News / Some Poles burning American flag [299]

Furthermore having a President like Bush representing America and the fact that many Americans elected him is far more offensive to the nation than burning the flag.

Why ? I like Bush.

News / Some Poles burning American flag [299]

Flag burning is the right of the people.

Not everywhere. I don't know about others, but burning Polish in Poland is a crime. And we don't use to burn even Russian or German, so I'm very surprised.

Let me know when you hear anything definite about this 44% tax .... there have been many unfounded rumours regarding tax .... :o)

It will be going back up to 5 years, so doesn't really matter now or in a few months.
