What can Poland do to maintain its Ethnic Integrity? [118]
Nothing!
Being now a member of the EU brings not only the good (lot's of money and connections) but also the bad as in Poland has to allow foreign people to wander around in your land and look for work and even to settle where they want.
The moment Poland gets richer and more attractive they will come and invade like locusts.
Now it are Poles who invade England and other richer EU-countries, soon it will be Turks from Germany, Arabs from France or Pakis from GB who will run to Poland...and many will stay.
(Not to mention all the poor new EU-members whose people are now grasping the first chance of a better life and will pack their bag and wander to Poland)
I see you making some sense for the first time, but still I can't agree with some things. Poland would have to be seriosly richer than France, Germany or UK to make large numbers of non Europeans from these countries move here and although Poland should quite fast reach economical level quite close (let's say 80%) to western Europe, but there are many structural problems, so getting the same level of developement will be much harder and seriosly richer than w. Europe is practically impossible unless we find huge sources of oil or gold here simply because once Poland become a rich country, companies will start moving to poorer countries with lower costs of workers, so economocal growth will slow down. Besides there's a language problem, without being fluent in Polish they won't get a job here except most skilled and the least skilled or teaching foreign languages, but in the first case that's very few people and rather not people we are talking about, in the 2nd case that won't be attractive for them and in 3rd that's no so many people either. People from Ukraine or Belarus are not the problem as they are the same ethnic group, people from Bulgaria or Romania are not bad either (unless they are Gypsies). Besides now I don't think that we have even 100 thousand non-Europeans here (usually Vietnamise) and as much as I am against "muliticulturalism", there won't be a tragedy If the number increase to 200, 300 or even 400 thousand, because problems begins only when there are millions and that won't happen here for sure, at least not in the next 20 years.
