Demographics suggest that with an ageing population, Scotland needs to attract workers to earn the revenue which will fund the social infrastructure.

Interesting that there is a thread about Polands shrinking population too as Polish migrants were credited with fuelling a boost in the Scottish birth rate ( first time in around 150 yrs ).

It could be deduced that the increase in the birth rate suggests an....ahem.... willingness to accept migrants.
