'Madej' Family

Hi everyone. I would like to know if anyone has any information on the Madej family. This is from my father's side, who my father has told me has Russian bloodlines as well as Polish of course.

I would like to know more, as I don't have a lot of historical information or sources. Most of my family is now gone.

Thank you...:)

You may find someone on nasza-klasa.pl. You need to sign on (free) and then search.

I teach someone with the surname of Madej. Obviously, I cannot give his first name over an open forum but PM me and I'll tell you about them.

MADEJ - probably derived from a pet form of Amadeusz such as MaduĊ› or Madek or toponymically from Madaje.

I saw Mr Madej yesterday. He is on FB I think. He seems to know about his family name as he discussed it with me briefly after class.

Please PM me for further details.

The point is not the number, Greg, but the knowledge of the family's history.
