History / Germans Exiles & Museum in Berlin in the eyes of Poles and UE nationals. [106]

Reality is that they will buy it back.

Harry is very racist person ... but I've got small surprise : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Löcknitz

Since Poland joined the Schengen Agreement, the population of Löcknitz is growing, as rates and costs of land acquisition are lower than in Poland. Many commuters from Szczecin are living in Löcknitz [2] and the first economical investments are made in Löcknitz by Polish enterprises

Both countries have demographic problems so it is just curiosity.

As for me Bratwurst likes when sobody calles them Nazis...

Well I wouldn't say so... For me there are many signs that ... Germans are back ...

Lets say 1st reich not 3rd reich...

Which alwyas played dirty games. Well ... "dear" Germans ... there are many voices form your neigbourhood - not only form Poland. It is only question of time when you will not be able to form coalitions in neigbourhood.

You want to build museum of people who expeled Poles form their land ... it is your choice and it is sign that again if you stay on this path ... you are going to have as alwyas problems and as alwyas at the end you will cry like maniac when he realizes what he has done durring previuous night.

This museum is just symbol ... of the change in German mind.

At the end as always :

Oooooch...is poor little Luki scared by big bad neighbours again...oooch....should I look under your bed for monsters again, yes? :(

Don't try to use such arguments. It is fact ... times when in Europe small or biger country were taken seriously are over.

It is good that Europe after enlargment doesn't have to listen Germans in everything and will of others in EU can be implemented without the Germans ... If Germans will continue their policy of bothering neighbours ... other should send them sign that they are not alone in europe.

I don't see what a polish led EU-alliance could do about it? Explain please...

You push propaganda projects ... which are wrong. You start to bother your neighbours...

Don't be surprised when such cloalition will push project you don't like and which is very wrong using its strenght.

Steibach is the best face for this project... expeled from house which has been stolen by her father.

...oh...and there is nothing you can do to change it...

Oh well ... this case shows us that even if you are not right you push forward project using your strenght ... you do such things with different neighbours ... don't be surprised that sombody will make coalition against you ... inside of EU (I am not talking military military aliance).

In 1941 it was decided to destroy the Polish nation completely and the German leadership decided that in 10 to 20 years the Polish state under German occupation was to be fully cleared of any ethnic Poles

Well as to German interpretation of history ... LOL.

Germans have tensions with more and more their neighbours because they think that they can be "the dog" again. In my opinion they are steping towards mistakes made by them in the past. Listen the voice of Switzerland ... listen to reasons why Belgians want to split in two pieces (listen to arguments of German part of the country).

Go back in the history and remember why Germans were fighting on two fronts during WWII. ... Germans were using different methods on west and east but always at the end were fighting on two fronts.

History / World War II - a tragic story for Poland and the World [489]

Is it not the case that Poland also supported the Franco's fascist forces

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C4%85browszczacy

Dąbrowszczacy, also known as Dąbrowski's Brigade or Dombrowsky Battalion was a predominantly Polish International Brigade in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). About 5,000 Poles fought in that unit. The Brigade was named after the 19th century Polish general Jarosław Dąbrowski. The unit was formed as Dąbrowski's battalion in October 1936; in June 1937 it was reorganised into the 150th Brigade, which in addition to two Polish battalions (Dąbrowski's and Palefox's) included also a Hungarian (Rakosy's) and a Belgian-French (Marty's) one

Poland was second biggest arms supplier to the Republic, just after USSR

Polish gov was neutral during spanish civil war but there were some volunteer units on Republican side fighting against Franco :-). What is more Poland was 2nd Republica arms supplier during this war.

History / World War II - a tragic story for Poland and the World [489]

Ah, I see. Would that include the Ancient Prussians too?

Oh yes ... most of them were exterminated in middle ages ... rest assimilated into Polish, German culture, or live in Lithuania which supported Poland durring battle of Grunwald (because they were next on the list)... very interesting story.

What is your point exactly? Hitler has been dead for 64 years now, people who served in Wehrmacht are dead or old, discussing any revenge or conflict 3 generations later when the situation has been stable for more than half a century is kinda pointless.

Well of course we haven't had such positive neigbourhood with German state for centuries....

I am debating about history.

History / World War II - a tragic story for Poland and the World [489]

The primary culprit of Polands downfall was Poland itself, we allowed Germany and Russia to rise to power through our inaction and internal discord back when we were a major player in Europe, before you go medieval on anyone abroad take a critical look at our own nation.

Power in genreal is differen question... I am talking about different standarts Germans have in their policies on east to what they have on west ...

How to say it ... they have choosen standarts using which they should be treaten after the war.

If Poles exterminated them after the war ... it would be totaly ok according to German standarts they have chosen to use on east ...

What I want to add, Poland to change Germans making much more brutal politics on east (not only durring WWII) than on west ... needs to use the same methods which Germans choose when it comes policies towards Poland ... nothing more.

Now we have peacfull times (Poland and Germany aren't preparing armies on borders) but there is need to draw the conclusion.

I consider such behaviour as element of self-defence and self-respect which could lead to higher standards in conflicts Poland has against Germany.

You see extermination of an entire people as OK? What about those few Germans who did oppose Nazis and helped opressed civilians?

It is question of Polands place on "civilization leather" and safty in the future. You need to fight for your place.

Polands place in German minds isn't hight

Just look on different standarts Germans have in wars on west and on east. Poland in this situation should use German satandarts used on east.

Drawing conclusion ... in case of severe revange Poland would be in much safer situation (revange would be kind of self defence) ... Poland would be richer ... and happier country.

History / Poland: dont blame us its the Germans. [174]

its the Germans.

Well when we look on facts ... from WWII ... Poles had the right to start exterminate Germans...

In case of using German plans against Germans ... nobody would say anything after 60 years.

It would be story of German nation which wanted to exterminate Polish nation but was exterminated in revenge.

For some reasons somebody teraten them softer ... that is why they are so impudent ...

What Poland should do ... Draw conclusions and next time make proper severe revenge.

History / Poland: dont blame us its the Germans. [174]

Poland: dont blame us its the Germans.

Well ... of course crimes commited on Polish nation like expultions, slave laubour, murders were done by the Germans.

Well ... we all people know the story of Polish Jews but ... in my opinion Germans don't like to talk about what they have done for ... non-Jewish Polish citizens.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_crimes_against_ethnic_Poles

In addition to about three million Polish Jews (mostly killed in Operation Reinhard), 2.5 million non-Jewish Polish citizens perished during the course of the war

Germany planned to completely remove the indigenous population of Poland. According to the Lebensraum ideology, their place was to be taken by the German military and civilian settlers. During the occupation, more than one million Poles were expelled by German authorities, including 923,000 Poles ethnically cleansed from territories Germany annexed into the Reich.

Between 1939 and 1945, at least 1.5 million Polish citizens were transported to the Reich into forced labor, many of them teenage boys and girls

Well it wasn't English people who have done so but it was the Germans. The Germans were robbig whole country, the Germans were stealing everythnig what was valuable ...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generalplan_Ost

In 1941 it was decided to destroy the Polish nation completely and the German leadership decided that in 10 to 20 years the Polish state under German occupation was to be fully cleared of any ethnic Poles

In my opinion Germans with their vision of history (after reading their press) should be very careful and yes in my opinion they haven't been punished severe enough for what they have done.

Anny way I don't see the reason to talk to Harry Templeton as long as he uses provocation in his debates. :) He maniupaltes data ... he hates country where he lives :)

Thank you Harry that you posted that there were 177 such crimes in Poland ... what incudes racist graffiti on wall or racist statment on stadium (in what non white person isn't needed) :)

Thise exreme examples were speical for Harry... there is of course much more positive perosonalities with such background..

As to nubers of non white people in Poland ... they are much higher than Harry mentioned.

What is more 177 hate crimes isn't special number... there may be different interpretations but still 177 is tinny number.

As to being Polish or not in national survey ... I have next example:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatars#Polish_Tatars

. It is estimated that about 3000 Tatars live in present-day Poland, of which about 500 declared Tatar (rather than Polish) nationality in the 2002 census.

They have made great carrer in communist Poland.
