Polonius3 1,000 | 12,446 27 Oct 2008 / #2Those car designs are impressive indeed. Too bad a Polish national motor industry ceased to exist with the demise of the Polonez. Today's car factories are all foreign owned, produce foreing-designed vehicles and siphon most of their profits back to their home countries. This is also the case in Britain, once a major automomotive stronghold, where the Japanese, Americans and Germans hold sway.
OP Poznan 5 | 46 27 Oct 2008 / #3It is ture but there are some new "true" Polish sport cars but it isn't production like in BMW or Ford. They are single models made by Poles in Polish companies. There is new "Syrenka" project but it seems that global recesion is going to stop it. We need to wait.Old SyrenaNew Syrena (project) by mentioned before Tadeusz Jelec. The most important is that we are able to make good cars, so who knows ?
