News / Polish politician thrown off Lufthansa plane. Just enjoy. [60]

Polish politician Jan Maria Rokita had an argument with a stewardess on board a Lufthansa plane waiting to take off from Munich airport. The incident occurred Tuesday, when the former parliamentarian allegedly pushed aside a stewardess who had repeatedly asked him to fasten his seat belt.

After his vehement refusal to comply with the demands of the stewardess, the pilot reportedly expelled the 49-year-old.
Police escorted Rokita off the Lufthansa plane in handcuffs.

Rokita's voice as recorded with mobile:

Kostik, according to my best knowledge I'm Polish.
I'm busy now but one day I have to visit Mother Mary of Czestochowa in order to thank I'm not Russian.
Actually my family was close to rusification.
But it's a long story.

Borrka is a web myth or wannabe myth.

What makes you feel it stays the same?

I’ve got my hair, got my head
I’ve got my brains, got my ears,
I’ve got my eyes, got my nose
I've got my radio and TV and my internet acces as well...

But it's enough to quote this posting one can see under the map:
Но в общем хорошая карта, к этому и надо стремиться.

I know your people and I know your country.
No need to name "personalities" like Dugin, Natalia Narochnitskaya, Muchin etc.etc.
But don't tell me they are not the mainstream of Russian politics or history.
Neither was Lenin.

You didn't like Soviets

I do not like Russian imperialism and just referring to the map makes a good example of it.
Tiutchev wanted Russia to the Elbe river, those panslavists to Oder only but the general approach has not changed at all, be it Romanoffs, be it Stalin or Putin.

Only your possibilities are not the same anymore.
Look at your ex-Soviet neighbors - they are running away from you but you're still dreaming your imperial dreams.
Ehhh..

you've broadcast quite similar stories about "friends from mongolian steppes" coming regularly to your dreams at least since 2003

Oh well ... does it makes my stories less true ?

under the protection of Russia

You obviously still don't believe we don't like any kind of Russian protection ?
On the contrary according to the polls about 80% Poles are for the NATO membership.
Take it for granted no anti-US revolt in our future lol.

As for the average Russian attitude towards Poland:
Once my Russian friend ( or something like that) asked me - why the hell you always looked for some independent Poland ?
You are welcome as a part of our empire !

Or should I say a Russian vision of Poland ?

ste-pan.livejournal.com/169039.html

Look at this map - a poster printed on behave of Russian panslavists on the Eve of of Romanoffs' Empire total collapse .
Greater Serbia and even some tiny Czech Republic are given independent existence.
But not Poland.
Poland should expand Westwards what finally happened 1945 but only as an autonomic part of Russia.
I have not enough time and English language skills to translate the Russian text.
But believe me - hipocrysy second to none !

immense Russian market suddenly was opened for Polish goods

I hope for my Slavic brothers from Mongolian steppes the immense market of China will be open for Russian goods exactly same way.
Imagine 1.5 000 000 balalaykas sold to China !

hat was a blindness of polish elite.

True but Rzeczpospolita's elite was hardly Polish .
The most influential part of it was Lithuanian - Belorussian.

In general I tend to see our previous involvement in Eastern issues as a big mistake.
Poland should have let our Eastern Slavonic brothers fight each other like we are watching it today.

I'm really pleased with situation when we don't have too much in common with your gas and oil wars, Brothers.
On the contrary to historical records now it's our turn to "protect" Ukrainians against Russian imperialism.
Verbally only, on some NATO and Union's forums.
I hope you will enjoy it.

History / Targowice and Bar Confederations [34]

Oh Kostik, do you really believe proselytism and/or neglectable differences between the Orthodoxy and RCC are of any importance ?
It was just the thin red line dividing Russian imperialism and Polish noble obsession to civilize our Slavic brothers from the Asiatic steppes.
Just to make you more happy.

The only positive I can say about Sigismund Vasa is that he has moved our capital to Warsaw what was definitely right.
As for all Cossacs' uprisings ... a big part of so called "Cossacks" were bastardized Catholic runaways from Masovia. On the contrary their oppressors "Polish pans" were usually Orthodox or first generation Catholics like Yarema Wisniwiecki.

Religion was a distinguishing mark but hardly the reason of the conflict which was rather of social and political nature.
Just a new elite keen to gain some political power and playing smart the independence card.

It's late evening in Poland but you must wait at least two hours with your fairy tales on intolerant Polish catholics, Kostik. Then my girl friend will kiss me good night and you can follow your (historical only) phantasies.

However I prefer Yershov's Konek-Gorbunok.

Not that I say we were always cream of the cream in sense of tolerance but at least we've tried to keep low profile on persecuting our Orthodox brothers.

It does not even compare to your Starovery slaughter not to mention West-European cuius regio...

So there were really not to much religious issues behind Polish - Ukrainian or Polish Russian conflicts.

Rather the Moscow's old craze of uniting all Slavs under czar's rule.

As for German bitch from Stettin ... she was only gung ho on expanding her great Euro-Asian farm.

Is it what Russian historians lecture on Polish Russian events????? :):):):):):)

They would rather prefer some more traditional version of mother Russia liberating "pravoslavni narod" from Polish pans' yoke.

Targowice

Targowica.
Targowice sounds rather stupid to any person with at least elementary knowledge of history.

it Was Bar Confiderates who triggered the final partition of Poland.

Not true.
It was the Battle of Grunwald.

News / No Way, No Apology! Poland has every right to support Georgia! [115]

Würstel, I don't have enough time just now.
But I strongly suggest you look at the European stats 1985 and 2008.
After DDR-Anschluss lol.

BTW. Do you know this joke ?
What is the difference between Hitler and Putin ?
I mean their main works.
Mein Kampf und kein Mampf.
See you.

News / No Way, No Apology! Poland has every right to support Georgia! [115]

My 5 cents for Würstel:

Germany is losing its leading position in the EU - both in sense of economy and politics.
Look at the stats - once the European champ, today far behind the top economies.
Yesterday the main creator of the Union, today splitting European solidarity in the name of the old German craze - "cooperation" with Russia.

Just some examples of this cooperation:

Volga - Germans are back in Allemania crying for more Harz IV.
Baltic Germans elite, once very useful for the Czarist Russia, long ago killed by bolsheviks.
Ruined East-Germany, former Kremlin's darling, costs the Bundes tax payers about 100 billions euro every year.

Same goes for the Baltic pipe line.
Even a child knows that buying more candies will bring you a better price.
But obviously not in Germany.
Corrupted chancellor sells European gas business to KGB, for personal benefits.
"Smart" German businessmen believe it will help to catch up with leading economies and I'm more than sure German taxpayer should get ready to pay again.

The result is obvious.

Agreed.
Total bankruptcy of the oil driven Russia is a fact already.
The next steep is splitting Russia into 3...4 parts.
It will take about 5 years only so we'll be able to discuss it on the forum.

I hope everybody understand that medium sized nation like Russians, surrounded by enemies only is not in position to control the huge territory on its own.

History / Forgotten heroes of the forgotten war [8]

I think you have to draw the line somewhere.

Definitely - there was a big difference between Waffen-ss combat units and so called Allgemaine ss, more or less, the political "arm" of the nazi-party.

After the war, the judges of the Nuremberg Trials declared part of the SS a criminal organization.
I tend to see some of the Waffen ss unit as "less criminal" but believe me:
drawing the line is pretty hard here.

For example some Russians are ready to recognize Vlasov army as a patriotic anti-commie organization.
I would rather admit general Vlasov was a Russian patriot but for sure not his bunch of criminals coming partially from Kaminski brigade.
It was not my only example - for sure Jewish organizations consider Waffen ss from the Baltics to be Holocaust responsible.
For many Latvians or Estonians they are freedom fighters.

But all these do not refers to Dirlewanger.
I can imagine torturing him was a pleasure.

History / Forgotten heroes of the forgotten war [8]

As a matter of fact we don't have any veracious record of Dirlewanger's death.
But look what I,ve found searching the web for "Direlewanger":

Oskar Dirlewanger was recovering from his last wound at a hospital in Althausen, Bavaria, at the end of the war. On June 1st, 1945, French occupation forces used Polish soldiers in their service to forcibly bring him to the Althausen jail. Dirlewanger was beaten and tortured over the next several days. He died under torture from the Polish guards during the night of June 4-5. This information was supressed at the time, and many bogus sightings of him were made around the world, until his remains were exhaumed and identified in 1960. Thus ended the life of a man who lived by, and excelled at, violence.

History / Forgotten heroes of the forgotten war [8]

It took 64 years only to the brave German authorities to find criminals from so called Dirlewanger brigade responsible for mass killings in Warsaw 1944.
But of course it was a Polish daily Rzeczpospolita who has published the recently discovered ss brigade list .
Die ewig gestrigen Polacken !

The police is just starting examination of some 80 years old ss-members, all of them ending their days as model citizens of the Bundesrepublik.
Are they calling for reconciliation or perhaps complaining of "Poles living in the past" ?
Whatever, I'm sure they even "don't remember" any Warsaw uprising.

Shit !
And I've sent already mails to BND and BfV.
Sorry, Würstel !

Russians can joke only if oil costs 50 USD per barrel

Thanks God your Bulava missile sucks, Kostik.
It needs at least 10 more trial launches.
Means two centuries for you given todays 33$/barrel urals .

It seems it's YOU who has still lot's of problems with your neighbours...l

No, it's YOU expressing historical revisionism and laying territorial claims over some parts of your EU neighbor Poland.
It's you being not in line with German and European law .
Using some international board for promoting views which are not tolerated on German net.

So pls.
Stop teaching me lessons of political correctness.

As for me and Russkies here - we are joking in most of the cases.
No true offence at all.
