It is in the heart of Upper Silesia - a huge industrial area. It used to be very polluted because a lot of heavy industry is there and in commie times natural environment wasn't a top issue but now It's much better. Generally I don't think that this is a bad choice.

BTW These people from the ghetto were sending letters (smuggled outside and send to America) to Jewish leader in the USA begging them to do something and they did sh*it, didn't even try to send any money. As a result some of the people in the ghetto made a list of American Jews they are going to kill If they survive the war. But what the hell, It's sure easier to hide such things and blame "damn Pollocks", who "did nothing" - like those people could dial 911 and call the police, lol !
