Serb/Polish.
Here is a e- mail to a Brandys in Poland (Czestochowa)
piotr.brandys poczta.fm.

We had a famous writer many years ago his name was Edward Brandes. A Danish - Jewish
family there had some connection to Brandys in Poland.
We also have the great artist: Peter Brandes, who is still going strong.
In Poland are the best known Brandys, a writer called Kazimierz Brandys.

Leif Leszczynski (Danish/Polish)

there is about 7oo Brandys in Poland....

I am looking for my great grandmother family, her name was Carolina Kynast and her parents were Joseph Kynast and Apollonia Herrman. Any help would be great.
