UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

It's not hearsay, I live on a council estate.

So do I

I bet you read the Guardian.

No I don't. I read the Telegraph

Am I WASCIST??

Your posts about immigrants indeed suggest that.

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

I have seen it on our local estate, would you like photographs?

Seen what? Photos of what? Social housing is allocated by need, not tenants' origin.

Oh I have heard this plenty of times,

I've heard plenty of times that there's a monster in Loch Ness. Doesn't mean there's a shred of truth in it.

You haven't proved anything, just repeated hearsay, and bigoted hearsay at that.

By the way, it's worth taking some of the posts on this thread with a pinch of salt. There seem to be a couple of posters who only seem to appear when immigration to the UK is mentioned. I've repeated the following, which some forums are now using.

**Warning** Certain messages may be from the BNP's Cyberactivism team pretending to be ordinary people who find they are siding with the BNP.

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

This seemed interesting:

Tesco doubles Polish food range as Polish exodus ends

Tesco has doubled the amount of Polish food it offers, after sales of products from the eastern European country started to rise for the first time in over a year.

as they watch every other nationality queue jump the housing register

Can you prove this sweeping (and suspect) assertion?

And if they say A WORD about this, then they are "Racist" or "Lazy".

According to whom? Again, an example please.

Law / polski-rejestr-internetowy.com.. Are They Crooks?? [6]

I got a similar bill once, in Polish, pretending to be from the European Union. |And threw it away.

They are crooks, but if they send out 10,000 such bills to businesses whose names they've found on some database, and only 20 or 30 pay, it's worth them doing it.

Food / Whatever happened to gęsina? [6]

Bomi (at Klif Centre in Warsaw) have it, Piotr and Paweł sometimes too. It's a bit out of favour everywhere (not surprising if you have an ordinary size 50cm oven, not to mention the huge amount of fat and today's smaller families).

Tastes lovely though!

Food / Gloria Jeans Coffee's Warsaw [13]

There's already Starbucks, Voyage, Kawa w biegu, Green Coffee and the ubiquitous Coffee Heaven.

One chain (a Scandinavian firm, don't remember their name) pulled out of the Polish market due to saturation.

The Gloria Jean's here always look empty.

Not a wise investment.

they must be selling Gucci bags. What is the world coming to?

I wonder what price they quote for 200 - I could sell them at Wolumen and make a fortune!

Your posting links to your own fakedialogue anti-semitic story is frankly pathetic but for you perfectly predictable!!

Entirely predictable, but still a low point.

[quoteMareGaea]Pls Joe, get a hobby like gardening: useful, rewarding and above all, harmless. You would do yourself and everybody else a huge favour with this.[/quote]

Or better still some reality therapy, to cleanse his mind of the wicked 'Khazars' who are clearly out to get him.

Love / Hard to talk things: Sexual diseases - would Polish women be honest about that? [137]

what if your mother is std and if you drink her milk? you drunk? yes?

STDs are not generally transmitted through breastfeeding.

"If you have either chlamydia or gonorrhea, you can keep breastfeeding. If you have syphilis or herpes, you can keep breastfeeding as long as the sores are covered. Pump or hand express your milk from that breast until the sore clears."

On the internet, there's a few scare stories in Islamist websites and conspiracy theorists' rantings, and a couple of articles from more respectable sources pointing out that it's medically impossible.

I'd like to see the original poster back it up.

Can you cite a reliable source for this rubbish?

Or did the voices tell you?

Life / Buying Cigarettes in Poland, Gdansk. [21]

Your best bet is still in Dw Centralny. But not the main part. The tunnel that crosses Emilii Plater, just by the North-Eastern most entrance to the complex. They're very cheap and have a prodigious range.

This seems like undermining the parents right to teach the children as they see fit.

This is a kind of reductio ad absurdum. Either allow the teachers to teach, or go for homeschooling, don't let them see tv or newspapers, or book you don't like.

Why not just keep them in the cellar or a compound in your garden?

Jonni, I've got a feeling you know all about forcing something down someone's throat.

So you're calling me a rapist?

Speak for itself...

It doesn't. No kind of brainwashing, no 'forcing down throats'. Nothing.

News / THE HOMINTERN IN POLAND? [80]

Jonni wanted an example of radical homo activists try to promote homosexuality among innocent school children:

This isn't an example, this is a quote from somebody's website. And to add insult to injury, it's a campaigning website. Doesn't even show a copy of the original 'questionnaire', if it ever indeed existed.

So come on, just one real example of homosexuality among "innocent scjool children"

Or are you just trying to force your right wing agenda down our throuats?

:-)))

There is famous video available on-line. (from the US, scandalously banned from You Tube)

US video!!! Just an example, go no, just one...

Please tell me how much people in Christian world support these wars?

Plenty, it seems.

positive move at that time dealing with socially dangerous demagogues

Provide just one teensy reference about Galileo and Bruno being 'socially dangerous demagogues. A positive move" to burn people to death. Puhleese!!

this famous leftist tolerance

I'm not on the left, and never mentioned tolerance. You however described burning people to death as "a positive move"

Their faith must be strong indeed in their would accept

They have had minimal contact with the outside world. Printed pictures, tinned food, nasty wal-mart clothes are something very new and exciting.

News / 14 year old rape victim from Warsaw denied abortion! [348]

Yahweh is from the beginning, and He will be for all of eternity. Read the Bible.

Your 'yahweh', not mine

Your concept of eternity, not mine

Your religious text, not mine.

You go right ahead and don't have an abortion. Don't others with different beliefs what to do.

Travel / Driving to Zakopane from England [21]

I think it is not obligatory but advised to have winter tyres in the south of Poland in February

Not obligatory, but many insurance policies require it. Check yours - if you have an accident and don't have them (but should), your insurance company might not pay out.

misquote - you are like a drunk child in the fog - stop pretending you know anything of significance about Polish politics

TKM - Teraz kurwa my - was allegedly said by one of the Kaczyńskis after AWS won election in 1997

You're contradicting yourself. Did Jaroslaw K say it or not?

Or was it the other nutty twin, Lech "spieprzaj dziadu" K?

description of radical homo activists trying to brainwash school children without their parents' knowledge

Give me one good example

All this stuff about Christians invading Muslim lands is bogus

Tell that to the people of Iraq, Afghanistan etc

The church's aim is to convert unbelievers, the aim of state was always to kill political opponents which happened to be heretics at that time

The Inquisition was part of the Church. And they won't convert me to their nasty primitive religion.

Christianity is the most targeted religion because Christians are peaceful people.

Amazonian tribespeople whose religion is under threat from right-wing American Xtian missionaries bribing them to convert might better qualify.

News / THE HOMINTERN IN POLAND? [80]

That is such a typical "Polak" thing to say.

More of a 'burak' thing.

Isn't it actually the LIBERTINE FUNDAMENTALISTS who are throwing their weight around and trying to force their pro-homo, pro-abortion, anti-family and anti-Christian notions down everybody's throat?

There is no 'homintern' :-D

Homosexuality is not being "forced down your throat". Unless you gatecrashed the wrong party.

Abortion is not being "forced down your throat". You are not even a woman, so it doesn't concern you in the slightest.

Anti-family (whatever that is supposed to mean) is not being "forced down your throat". families still exist happily.

Anti-Christian (again, whatever that means) is not being "forced down your throat". Christianity is thriving in both the US and Poland.

And please check your dictionary. For a definition of 'libertine'.

1jola

Though they were (with the obvious exception of Jesus) PIS coalition partners. Lepper too.

The brief and unhappy PiS regime, during which Premier marcinkiewicz had to be smuggled through the fire exit if Chatham House in London due to the Poles demonstrating outside, can be characterised by the famous quote from Jarosław K. about corruption, "teraz kurwa my", in English "now it's our f***ing turn".

History / Ranking of the most dangerous and successful enemies of Poland. [32]

Yes, they are the oil drum-looking middle aged women, the most dangerous thing known to man. The look on their faces makes Gołota look like a cupid. Beware, and expect no mercy.

:-)))

For once I agree with a post from 1Jola!

And these ladies' deadliest weapon is an open umbrella, with the little points lunging straight for your eye.
