Britain should be grateful!
In any free market economy like the UK prices are ultimately set by supply and demand. Prior to immigration certain industries, due to labour shortages, lacked the ability to compete both on a national and international stage. The UK in many areas had lost market share and was set to lose more with the entrance into the EU of former Eastern European countries. Immigration has in many ways reversed this trend and will in the long term benefit price inflation.
Like I said before I don't think the Brits hate Polish people but Polish people (from what I have seen to date) do not give the distinct impression that they love the Brits.
The only signs I ever see or translate is that they resent some Brits especially the ones with money. They also come into the Country with a pre-conceived idea that the streets are paved with gold. This is just nonsense.
Blacks and Asians have nothing to do with this topic, but if they are suffering from racism from Polish people then that just re-confirms my thoughts about Polish peoples attitude towards established people within a country, which strictly speaking they are only guests.
As for racism in general, the Polish history of this is not exactly squeaky clean anyway.

Why because history repeats itself! Once again the west sucking off communist criminals in tandem with preaching about rule of law, democracy and human rights. Twenty years from now when Chinese people seek to punish communists the west will also seek to defend them for economic reasons.
This is not about the past! It is about western ******** values that mean nothing in reality to western business interests. Stop treating Russia like a holy cow and see it for what it really is a criminal state that murders it citizens. They should first explain the reasons behind the decisions taken after the second world war. The reasons behind " Yalta". The reasons behind the recognition of the illegal Polish government (put in place by Moscow) after the second war world.
Why because history repeats itself!
The very same reasons today are being used to justify the EU's close cooperation with Russia. A Russia infiltrated with former KGB agents in all areas of economic and political life. A Russia who rewards cooperation with riches and punishes dissent with murder.

Fight a long side us , so that we can live in freedom after the second world. Polish people lost their freedom as a direct result of the spineless political decisions taken after the war. Polish soldiers died on the battlefields of Europe so that their nation could be rewarded with an illegal communist system that ruined the country's economy and ripped apart, by use of secret police, the very fabric that binds a nation together.

Ok firstly the fact that they cannot keep the young, skilled Polish people in Poland, due to the fact that there is nothing to offer them.

If one has to award prizes for jokes Germany's Gerhard Schröder would take 1st prize for joining the Russian KGB mafia at Gazprom. Europe as a whole 2nd prize for relentlessly sucking off Chinese communists a long with unconditional support for 2008 Games in a country with no democracy or rule of law that represents anyone except the communist party elite.

Stealth communism is alive and well in Poland! PiS has made a concerted effort to deal with former communists only to be attacked by the West for doing so. There is no way forward until the West stops supporting the former status quo in this part of the world. The West has always been naive in relation to communism as its relationship with Russia and China shows. Certain individuals need to be brought to justice and the West need to re-examine it's approach to the above mentioned countries.

Look at the property market in USA at the moment. The currency rate looks attractive against the euro and pound, so there is money to be made on forex as well as capital growth.
As far as Poland is concerned long term capital growth in major cities is assured, although I can't help but feel double figure gains look uncertain due to the lending possibilities of local buyers.

I really don't see the UK as a place to use and leave! I understand that we are members of the EU and therefore have the right to live and work within its bounderies. British investment in Poland runs into billions of pounds. Many Brits have bought property in Poland and many more will follow. I feel European and believe everyone can benefit from real cooperation. Many Poles died fighting a long side Brits during WW2 and as mush as I respect what Brits have suffered I can't help but feel Poland has suffered more.
I apologise about the name calling, you just see England as a land to make money in...to me its my home and i have seen it go through hell.
