Life / Polish legal system. [30]

Wow you are really a nasty person.

Lies? How about you repeating I am too unintelligent to collect a document. I will say again I know fully well HOW. I just don't like the red tape surrounding it.so keep saying the same thing over and over and the reality will still be the reality. I see you like to jump on the polonophobe bandwagon too because you know you will get support from some of the crazies here...good tactic actually.

You demand answers to your questions in between insults...do you really think that is a good way to get a response?

I don't know what has happened to you so mean and spiteful but it must have been bad. I think you have some very deep rooted problems and I am a convenient punching bag. If you need to keep berating me to feel better about yourself then go ahead...I will not argue anymore. Feel free to have the last word...it means nothing to me. But I would encourage you to step back and take a look at your behavior and how you are acting to an anonymous person on the internet. If you can be objective you will see how disturbing that actually is and that you are simply lashing out in a safe environment because you know the recipient of your abuse can't really do anything about it. I know you would never be so brave to speak to someone in person as you have here.

Good luck getting yourself straightened out. I know things are tough for you now but there is always hope.

Cheers

Ah and that was "to make you so mean and spiteful" before you inevitably use that editing error to illustrate my lack of smarts.

Again...get some help brother...you don't have to keep suffering like this. Admitting you have a problem is a giant first step. Wish you the best.

Why in the world should I give you what you want now? You really need to read the book about making friends and influencing people. Twice.

Life / Polish legal system. [30]

Harry...it is hard to take you seriously when you can't even keep things people say straight...for example when I said I was teaching here a week (but other places before) you conveniently left out the second part and screamed "you have only taught a week!!! OMGGG!!!" I also explained several of the other things you are flapping on about yet you can't seem to comprehend them...I expected nothing less from a bitter, old expat like yourself.

You are a joke my friend. What is this obsession you have with taking what people say and then saying "So what that means is..." or "What you mean is...." I mean exactly what I say not what you wish it to mean.

If you think you are besting me...and that that somehow makes you a winner in life...then you are sad as well.

You really should quit following me around the site and stalking my posts...it is just weird.

OK...I am seriously getting creeped out now...you have an obsession and really need to step back and take a look at how psychotic your behavior is.

News / Has global warming affected Poland? And in what ways? [73]

Pound for pound China puts more nastiness into the air than the States.

That said global warming is gonna happen with or without our help...we may speed it up a tiny bit in the big picture but it is a bit silly to get all uptight about.

Work / The qualifications for teachers in Poland? [101]

Ah so now you have something against the French as well...you are a lovely chap. I have never met a French person who is as nasty as you.

OOPS! Broke my declaration to ignore you...oh well...everyone makes mistakes.

Ciao

Work / The qualifications for teachers in Poland? [101]

Harry Harry Harry....

I knew full well WHERE to get the permit...I just hoped there was another option as the system is corrupt and a hassle. That has nothing to do with my intelligence. It is simply a matter of getting information. Seems you cannot see the difference.

I have been teaching here in Poland for a week yes(but other places before)...and my friends have been doing it for a few years and were the ones that got me into it. I have never applied at a school...I saw how they treated and paid my friends and private is the way to go. I am smart enough not to repeat the mistakes of others but rather take their wisdom and apply it. You are just angry you did it the hard way.

I still earn money from the USA as I mentioned...teaching is a supplement and pays quite well :) Thus your fantastic trap has been shot full of holes my boy! I did not lie...you simply could not conceive of how I could have done what I said.

As to the rest of your nonsense, accusations and insults why in the world should I engage you when all you can do is hurl garbage? You are proving the attitudes that I mentioned "professional" English teachers have...quite often pompous jerks from what I have seen.

You claim to know me and know what I can and cant do...I have never met a psychic...it is impressive.

You are quite obviously a bitter sod and very reactionary at that. Keep firing back in line for line quotes all you like. You bore me.

Toodles

Well if you are poor and get caught you do the time...if you are wealthy and know the right people everything is for sale...including your freedom.

They have shown videos of politicians taking bribes and somehow they are not in Prison.

Polonia / International Drivers License for a Polish citizen while being abroad [3]

agus I am not sure where Poles get theirs but for Brits and Yanks it is the country's driving club that issues them for something like 10usd or so and they are good for one year. You can get them through the mail by printing and application and mailing it with the fee and photo.

There are websites that sell them for very high prices and say they have cards good for 5 or 10 years...these are scams. They may work with an unknowing police officer but they are not valid and the prices are very high. The only REAL permits are from the driving clubs and must be accompanied by your country's driving license to be valid...alone they are useless.

Law / 40- Temp. Resident Cards for the Foreigners Lost inside WAW Depart. [13]

Well there is a bit of a Political game between Poland and the USA. The USA gives Poland loads of money and aid, pays for their soldiers to be in Iraq, and praises their loyalty yet won't let Poles into the USA without a visa like many western EU countries (which I think is wrong...fair is fair). Poles have to jump through a lot of hoops for a USA visa.

Thus...Poles are not exactly 'helpful' when it comes to yanks living here. and the rules are not applied consistently. For example UK citizens are supposed to register here but most don't and they are not hassled. Every time I leave and enter I am scrutinized and it is clearly retaliation for how Poles are bothered entering the USA.

I am not happy with the USA's immigration policies either but Poland definitely has some issues that need addressing.

I am sure it is even worse here if you are not white or European.

If you wouldn't mind letting me know who this 'top person' is and how to reach them I would appreciate it...I need to let them know about the people taking over the queues and charging people for places...it's a bit mad out there.

Thanks and good luck to you as well.

Life / Opinions/experience about the Polish Police [40]

Nothing to be proud of, but i did try to bride 2 police officers into not writing me tickets between wroclaw/czestochowa, but unfortunately they did not take the bait:) My other cousins have also been unsuccessful in briding as well...

Both you AND you cousin tried to marry Police officers and they refused? Bummer...

Life / Polish Train Travel - Scary? [101]

The gas thing is talked about all the time yet I have never met anyone that has had it happen or knows someone who had it happen.

Pickpockets and petty thieve however are a whole other story....they are common. Even your own cabin mates will at times help themselves to your things if you don't keep an eye on them.

Never leave money and documents in your bag...always on you in a place they can't get to without waking you.

Law / 40- Temp. Resident Cards for the Foreigners Lost inside WAW Depart. [13]

Good luck...the whole process is corrupt. They have some aspiring businessmen (mafia probably) controlling the queues and charging people for places (if you don't pay for one of the front spots you might not be seen that day due to the large number of people...if you are a non EU citizen anyway) People are routinely waiting in the cold for 4 hours and they still have to organize themselves after all those who have paid for places and held them for their 10 friends who come at the last minute. THEN if you are lucky enough to get a low enough number for that day you still will wait most of the day to be seen. If you are NOT seen you have to start it all over the next day....even if your number was next. Even the USA and UK with their nutty immigration policies would never have such stupid, criminal queue systems where people stand in the cold for half the night and have to pay for spots.

They charge 340zl (about 100 Euros) or so total just to TAKE the application...and they don't approve them all so that is a lot of money in the bank. Not to mention you have to pay that each time you apply.

Now they are losing permits...

You are not alone Oxide...every expat that has dealt with Dluga feels your pain. Unfortunately we can't do anything about it...if we want to bother staying here we are at their mercy.

But I must be imagining everything above because Poland is such a modern, efficient and open country!

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

When Poles hate someone then It's OK, but somebody, who hate us should be crushed.

This was quoted before but I thought it deserved to be shown again...in case anyone took anything Greg has said seriously.

Yeah and you think a lot of other dumb stuff too....so I don't really give it any value.

I am not going to say because you want to know so bad :))))

Plus if you were half as bright as you think you are you wouldn't need to ask.

And lastly...what if there IS racism in my country....I do not support it, actively fight against it and do not deny it when others bring it up...something you are not capable of doing as it admits to a fallibility in your native land.

Your theories are cute though...keep trying :)

He doesnt even live here?!?! Ahahaha...oh boy. There is more evidence to my theory that the mouthiest uber nationalists are usually expats not even experiencing daily life here.

I can call someone an elephant but it doesn't mean they are....so your labels are just that....YOUR labels.

Do you REALLY think you can bait me into giving you the answers you want with 3rd grade tactics like that?

Hehe...barrel o'laughs I tell ya!

See? Anyone that says something he disagrees with or is critical of his homeland is a polonophobe.

Black and white this one....

He thinks he can demand things of the very same people he is railing on...funny to read his ranting...gives me a good chuckle.

As far as me being kicked out...sorry bubba...you don't control that end of things so fantasize all you wish :)

Life / Racist violence in Poland [172]

Manic you won't have a bad time if you are just visiting because you likely won't see or notice many things that go on. If you are here for a long time you will notice pervasive racism. As a southwest asian you will be lumped in with arabs and be the butt of terrorist jokes and suspicion by many behind your back. Of course this happens other places too but this is a Polish forum thus the focus.

Puzzler is in complete denial of the realities in Poland (Miranda posted a great thread about this denial)

Just don't take any crap off anyone and enjoy the time you spend here.

I think he likes to read his own posts....probably prints them off and papers his walls with them.

This will be followed with a post by Puzzler saying "PROVE IT...PROVE I PAPER MY WALLS WITH PRINTED POSTS!!! PROVE IT!!"

Puzzler...if nothing else you have been good for a laugh mate. You are by far one of the most entertaining trolls I have seen online in ages...thanks!!

Miranda please take his dictionary away...his attempt to use English vocabulary to make his speech sound intelligent is so transparent and ineffective.

You call it cornered Puzzler...I call it not worth the effort...you are a lost cause.

If you wish to get a shirt made that says "I won an internet argument!!" then be my guest. Just make sure it isn't too tight.
