Why do Poles come to England? [514]
Ok lets all argue over facts and figures, the point is there are a lot of nationalities coming to the UK, whether your Polish, Lithuanian, Pakistani, Indian, Jamaican so on and so on.
There are plenty of reasons why people are coming to England. When i say this i'm not being arrogant or imperialist but the UK is one of the most popular places to go to due to the potential for success or quality of life.
Some people come here to escape from their own country, this could be for a number of reasons, their country is war ridden, they feel their life or the lives of their family are under threat in their country (for example, White Farmers in Zimbabwe)
Others come to the country so that they can support their families back in their home nation, usually because there are not enough jobs their or the pay is so low that they cannot afford to live normally.
Some people come here to avoid arrest or to start up a criminal act or acts, for example organised crime. (People and drugs trafficking)
So there are just a few reasons why people come to the UK, now on to the figures which people seem obsessed with, looking at that list of Poles living abroad. I could probably estimate that we would be third in the list behind Brazil. My point here is look at the size of the countries at the top of the list, Brazil, America, Canada, Germany, Argentina etc etc are all much larger than the UK yet we have so many migrants here. So if anybody has cause for concern it is us.
I have already shown my annoyance at the amount of migrants we allow into or on the British Isles, for our size we take in many many many more than we are required to by the EU. Its about time the Government took note on what people are saying and begin to get tough on the immigration rules, who they let in etc.
Of course crime is not the fault of the 'migrant' or even 'illegals' but those categories of people do not help. As this is a polish forum i will use Poland as an example, We have Polish 'prostitution rings' 'people traffickers' 'fraud' ie credit cards, money, paperwork etc etc, we already have our own criminals thank you very much we don't need the rest of the worlds either :).
Lastly i would like to reiterate my point from earlier and ask other people's opinions on 'illegal' immigrants, whether your from the US, UK, Poland or wherever, here in the UK i don't feel we do enough to kick these people out, in fact we do the opposite, while there sitting in the asylum housing their demanding HD TV's, Queens size beds and other top living facilities, while we have BRITISH people LEGALLY in the country on the streets, it just seems wrong to me.
