News / LPR - League of the Polish Repressed (and retarded) [49]

What's wrong with that ?

My point wasn't that there's nothing wrong with it. It's where the twins priorities are. However, I believe that some statues should at least be preserved for educational purposes. It's considered art...whether it's good or bad, it teaches.

Work / Work Ethic of Polish Workers [19]

From what I observed while in PL, it's similar to the US. I'm not sure about the OT though.

I hate to burst your bubble because you're so kind to my chihuahua, but sadly chihuahuas are from Mexico...

Yeah its the "fad" of carrying the toy dog around like a handbag :) I see this all too often in NYC. I'm not sure if its a worldwide thing though. Who knows.

Love / Do mix culture marriages work in Poland? [68]

My wife told me afterwards that the ladies in the restaurant were saying to each other that they could never marry anyone who is Oriental

These people exist everywhere and should just be ignored. If they don't want to marry an Asian, they don't have to. As long as you're happy.

Have a lot of fun in Poland.

Tell me you are kidding...

It's not MY choice, but is part of American culture :)

When I was a child Big Foot was popular. Unfortunately men (southern) still enjoy these things.

Love / Polish-American dating success stories [41]

Its probably my favorite spot on the Outer Banks. Take her to Howards Pub by any chance? I

Yea...Airport beach had fantastic waves. Once a storm rolled in it was butter. Did a little of boogy boarding but got a bit rashed up

Howards has a most fantastic beer selection. Loved it. Fresh fish and beer was top choice there. My gf liked the steamers, but I gave here a raw clam and that ruined the chance to try an oyster :) I ate loads of oysters there. I can't wait to go back. I'd like to take a fishing trip with the boys one day. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

How did you like it? I do miss the atlantic ocean and being on the OBX every so often

It was spectacular. We had 15 miles of beach all to ourselves :) Unlike the common areas of OBX, Ocracoke Island was waaay less crowded and the water much warmer. Tropical like. We fished, drank and had a fire on the beach every evening. Priceless it was.

UK, Ireland / Great Britain vs England, Ireland, Scottland, Wales [37]

Yeah...definitely worth checking out. We have many strong beer's here in the US. Some up to 21%. Do you have any similar anywhere in the UK that I can have my liquor store look into?

Try to find black Boss (witnica) :) 9.4% Its a Porter...and a fine one. Only one place to find it in PL and theres a distributer by my house that happens to import it...lucky me :) Kicks Zywiec Porter ass

you can get them all pretty much but only a few in pubs.

Unfortunately not many Pubs around me carry Pl beer. maybe a few that have Tyskie or Zywiec, but those are both ok. I wish I could find Bosman here

From what I was told Guinness is a stout not a beer. I thought beer must have gas in it to be called a beer.

I believe beer is a broad term, then broken down into sub categories. Stout-Ale-Brown Ale-IPA-Bitter-Lager-Wheat........

My goodness my Guinness :)

Love Guinness.
Poland makes a few good strong beers, but you probably can't get the ones in the UK that I can here in Americer.
I don't like any of the English beer except for Boddington Ale on tap. Casked beer is disgusting.

Love / Can't Work her out! She's Polish! [40]

You can say that. Most women I know don't like men with existing ex drama. Never know though. Ask her out again for some coffee so that she can learn more about you. Then maybe she'll understand.

Sounds like she doesn't want to deal with you if you have ex issues. This can be a hassle for someone to deal with.

Life / Stereotyping in the Polish culture: Are Polish blondes really dumb? [130]

wyspianska, i'm just going by general averages

Where are these averages?

Troll

Zbigniew bresinski is highly inteligent

If you're going to use a name at least spell it correctly Brzezinski

Mathematicians:
Henryk Zygalski
Jerzy Pozycki
Marian Rejewski

all helped break the Enigma machine during ww2...guess they were all pretty dumb.

You appear to be the unintelligent one here :)

able to manipulate the male gender to do what they wish

its not the blondes that are dumb but the people that fall under their spell

Ok...don't make it look worse for blondes...lol

my gf is blonde and extremely intelligent.
